It’s Not Easy Being Green

Green – the middlemost color in the spectrum is also representative of life itself. It is presumably the product of the transition of colors from fiery red to ambivalent orange then mellow yellow. To continue this illustration, let us also assume that blue must be the color of freedom, indigo for righteous anger and indignation and violet for all our grievances, frustrations, and misgivings.

 

Colors are just varying shades of gray perceptible to the eyes, discounting any visual impairment, of the animal species and the rest of the image-capturing gadgets. These tints and hues are only appreciated in the presence of light since its absence would only result to complete abysmal darkness.

 

Fate would make it possible for a few of us to be partners with the rest of the community identified with the color in consideration. Admittedly, it is not easy being green for whatever ensuing privileges and responsibilities are incidental thereto. It is
