They marched to the deepest forest wordlessly. The air stiffened, dirty dust flying around and the pungent odor dancing in the air. It caused Ali and Ibrahim to wince.

“This is terrible.” Ali instinctively covered his nose.

“I can’t. I can’t.” Ibrahim had it bad.

For a lion, he, for sure, relied on his senses and sensitivity. The smell stimulated his brain and quickly sent the signal. He got it bad.

Shadow should be lumped in the same category as the lion due to the experiment. However, she also could control her body to do as she pleased. If she wanted to disregard the odor, she would and she was doing it.

As they went deeper, the trees totally died out. The steeps became uneven, the ground was so brittle. Ali almost questioned his own weight while Ibrahim had lightened his body with tiptoeing.

He didn't know whether it helped or not, but at least he tried his best.
