“So… it’s true?” The voice hung low and trembled, his eyes quivering in pain.

Eagle nodded at Alberu, “ask him.”

He provided no answer, only riddles. Edmund could only frown a little, thinking hard about his next course of action.

“You don’t have to think hard, just roll with it.” Eagled dropped all the freaking bombs in one go and turned his focus on quiet Amino.

Amino’s face lit up when the focus was at last on him. His lips curled up and his arms were opened wide.

“Wait! I'll roll with it, or kill him if I must, but how… why… what…” Edmund couldn’t think of anything.

He had a lot of questions. He had thousands or millions of unanswerable questions running around his mind. None of them made sense sometimes but they were valid questions. Only, he had no idea how to put it into fine words so that he could get the answer that he wanted.

“Oh gosh.” Eagle rolled his eyes and clasped his ears. “You’re fucking loud, Ed!”

He flinched and at the same time, his thoughts disappeared. “... yes
