“Lord… Lord Shadow…” Alberu was yanked by his collar by Eagle.

“Who the fuck is your lord?” Eagle snarled at him.

Alberu was rendered speechless. The speech, the intonation, his vocal cord, his expression… it was different. This was not Shadow that he knew. This lord didn’t even hide her murderous aura and treated him worst than a ragdoll.

“Are you…” He swallowed his thick saliva. “Who are you…?”

Eagle pulled him by his collar with no problem. That small body dragged him as if he was as light as the feather. There’s no trace of struggle either in her breath or her legs. Her muscles seemed to be developed well.

“Lord… lord…” He called again.”

“Whatever you’re going to do, begging… don’t do it,” Eagle said absently, raising his nose and flaring up his nostril.

Courtesy of his original ability, his sense of smell, hearing, and sighting was extremely good to guide him to the place he wanted to graze.
