"Jase, go home with grandma first. I'll catch up later, alright?" She nodded his head and I kissed him before he left with my mother. I could see Kalex following Jase's gaze, as well as the two of them meeting as Mama held Jase's hand away.
But my son, being the good boy that he is didn't ask me any question. I walked towards Kalex and sat on the vacant seat beside him.
"H-How's his wrist?"
"The doctor said it's just a sprain. It will heal within 2 to 3 weeks." he nodded but he was still looking in the direction where Jase came out. "They'll be there in my unit first." He was quiet for a moment before he took a deep breath and asked.
"Is he-is he ...?" I want to struggle. I wanted to ask if he was serious about what he wanted to ask. it is very obvious that Jase is his son.
