"How's your day?" Mom asked me
We are currently eating in the dining room and I could not help but cringe when I answered his question. "It's fine. As usual."
I am broken, mom. I would have liked to have told him that, in case I don't want him to worry. Dad and I are busy at work and I do not want to add to the tiredness they feel.
"Do you have a problem?"
I looked up when I heard Dad speak. "Nothing." my smile forced an answer.
I just focused my attention on the food served on the table then ate what was on my plate again. This is not the time to do drama again because my parents are here especially since we are at the table. I only came home once and I should cherished being with them rather than thinking of how broken I am.
"Your mommy has something to say to you." I heard Dad whisper, causing me to turn to Mom.
