"Muffin," I yelled and got up with a jerk. I looked around and found myself in a hospital room and a needle was inserted into my veins.
I pulled it out with force and got up.
"Dhruv, where are you going?" I heard Kiaan and found him sitting beside the bed. But I had to find my muffin.
I didn't reply to him and went out of the room where I found others. Even grandpa and Ashok Uncle were there too.
I had no idea what were they doing there and I was not even interested to know.
"Dhruv." little one called me.
"Little one, have you seen muffin? Where is she?"
"Dhruv, you need rest." said Arjun.
"No, I...I want to see her."
I went towards the ICU and saw the doctor coming out of the room.
"The death time was 5:10 p.m. Inform Mr. Kapoor that we couldn't save the patient." I heard the doctor talking to one of the nurses.
"Yes, sir." the nurse replied and I asked

Saavi******I gaped at the 2-storey mansion in front of me. It looked like it can occupy more than 50 people. How did they even live here?"What happened beta, why did you stop?" Ashok Uncle asked."Nothing," I replied and Dhriti held my hand and said,"I too was shocked looking at this house for the first time. Grandpa had bought it with his hard-earned money.""Come," she said and took me inside with her.I was mesmerized by the beauty of the house. It was so beautiful and for a few seconds I perceived myself as Alice In wonderland."Dhriti, take Saavi into her room." Maasi said."Okay, Maasi," she replied and took me to the first floor."So, this is your room."I was distracted with the thoughts of my inferior complexity when Dhriti snapped her fingers in front of me.I looked at her bemused when she asked, "Didn't you like the room?""What?""I had asked did you like the roo
Saavi********DREAM SEQUENCE STARTS********I was back in that dungeon where I have seen my life turning into hell, where I have felt every gut-wrenching emotion, where I have witnessed the atrocious deeds of the devil. The door creaked opened revealing one of the people I loath the most.'How are you, little bird?' he asked caressing my hairs.Swatting away his hand I yelled, 'You are a devil.''That I am.' he replied and started laughing.I was wondering how could someone be so cruel when he shouted,"Bring her in."As the two guards brought the one person I have come to trust I was shocked to the core."Melinda." my voice came out as a whisper."Yes, little bird. Your dear Melinda.""No, please don't.""Sorry, little bird I have to."********DREAM SEQUENCE ENDS********'No, ple..please...Mel...Melinda...No,please,stop...stop.'"Saavi, ope

Without wasting any second she was there in front of him."What's my schedule for today?" he asked while his gaze was fixed to the reports he was reading. She narrated his schedule and all the while was looking at her friend's tired and pale face.Everyone who has known him for long knows if something bothers D
Dhruv******"So, how are you feeling Mr. Lucifer without 9, oh wait, without 10 fingers?" I asked looking at the crippled form of the asshole because of whom my love suffered."You are psychotic," he yelled.Laughing at his comment I said, "I know but you realized it late you know.""Arjun, what he was saying a few days ago, what are we?""Some Naive men.""Oh, yeah. Naive men and those naive men made you cripple. I feel pity for you." I was still not feeling contended. I wanted to make him suffer more until he begs for his death."Why are you doing this? Didn't I tell you that I work for David? What exactly you want?" Lucifer shouted."Finally, you came to the point," Arjun said.Grabbing his collars I whispered "You used these fingers of yours to text her and I will punish each one of them who had hurt her.""Her? Whom you are talking about?""That you will know soon. Till then, Andrew will take c
Dhruv******I was about to leave early tonight as everyone was going out to have dinner except me. Again I had to make an excuse for a meeting and like always no one said anything except grandpa who is still cranky because of me ignoring Saavi.I was glad that Saavi was getting along with them and finally she was going back to normal without me.It hurts that she is happy and going back to normalcy without me beside her. Am I being too selfish?I had gone to meet Rajesh Pandey's family today but they all had gone out of the country as told by their neighbours so I came back disappointed. Even Lucifer was not giving any leads. It seems I will have to double the torture. No, wait, it's better if I find any weakness of him. That way it will be easier to make him spill the truth.I checked the time and sighed thinking it's time to leave home. It was 8 in the night and I was sure they all must have left by now.But to make sure tha
Dhruv******"I will not vanish from your life. I promise. I will stay with you, by your side, always.""You..are...lying...just like every time.""Don't...leav...leave...me..please.""Never."Our conversation in the art gallery was playing on a loop in my mind and I stopped the car abruptly when the realization hit me like a ton of bricks.Shit! What did I just do? I left muffin. Why? Just because of some stupid reason. I hurt her. I had to protect her but here I am doing what she had gone through all her life.I promised her that I will never leave her side. She was already insecure and after making her believe that I never abandon her I did the same. The realization hit me like a clap of thunder and I turned my car back to go to my muffin.Recklessly I drove to the house and in a few minutes, I was again at my doorstep."Muffin," I called going inside and found her slumped down on the floor near the couc
Saavi******I stayed silent and he also didn't even pester more. Bringing my wrist near to his lips he left a lot of kisses over the bandaged wound."Muffin, promise me one thing. Whatever happens, you will never do something like this."Holding his little finger I promised. He was rubbing my arm when I snuggled more into him."I was scared when I...when I looked at you in the bathtub."I was left stunned at the disclosure of the truth that Dhruv was the one who had brought me to the hospital."Don't pull that stunt again. I...I will not be able to bear it this time."Saying this he buried his face in the crook of my neck holding me tightly. I could feel warm liquid on my neck, that was probably his tears."Dhruv," I called but he didn't move. His tears were hurting me but I couldn't even pacify him."Dhruv, I am sorry. I am sorry for hurting you.I.I real...really..am." My own traitor tears had started flo
Kiaan******We came back from Namit's house and I was going towards my room when suddenly I had to stop in my tracks. The door of Dhruv's room was wide opened which gave me a view of Dhruv and marshmallow sleeping together.Damn! If any elder will see them together they will freak out. I could hear their footsteps and panicking I started shouting to make them stop,"Sna...snake...Snake...Snake.""Where is Snake?" Grandpa asked panicking."Here." Pointing near Dhruv's door I ran towards them while they all descended the stairs being afraid.Pulling Namit I whispered to Namit, "They both are in Dhruv's room. Do something before anyone sees them."Nodding he yelled, "Oh My God! A Scorpio."Till then Dhriti had understood something was wrong and Namit passed my message to her. While I and Namit were busy in misguiding our family members, Dhriti sneaked away upstairs.******Dhruv******Gr
Dhruv******I was engrossed in looking at the news article posted on the business world website but my mind was not there as it had lost its peace. I had been aloof and had become gloomy from the last two days.I wasn't in favour of the idea but I had no option, instead of rebuking muffin. She had been not taking care of her health. If not for her gynecologist I would have never known she was suffering from PCOD.I was furious at her for not sharing the important information with me but what made me angrier was she was still not giving up on fast food. I went to pick her up from the college two days ago and found a burger in her hand. She was instructed by the gynecologist to avoid junk food but she didn't pay heed to her advice. We argued, had a little fight to be precise and I had to stop talking to her to make her realize she was at fault. I stopped feeding her. Neither I talked to her nor have been answering any of her questions from the last
Saavi******I walked outside towards the gigantic black coloured iron gate after being tired of the hectic day I had to go through."S.V" called one of my classmates as well as my new friend, Elena.I stopped in my track and found her running towards me."Happy weekend.", she said."You too.""You sure, you are not joining us on the trip?" She asked about the trip our batchmates were going to the coming weekend."No, my husband is coming.""Okay, then. Happy romantic weekend." She winked in the end. I couldn't help myself but blush at her remark."Damn girl, only on the mention of his name you turned red."What could I have done? Our love was still like a new one. The pain from my life vanished as if it never existed as if there was no relation between me and the miseries. Dhruv and everyone made sure to keep me happy always."See you on Monday then, bye," said Elena and went towards her car.
Dhruv******Saavi was sleeping like a baby, holding me. I didn't have the heart to wake up my sleeping beauty so I let her."Everything is fine now, love. Just like I have promised. The devils are gone and I assure you that I will never let the darkness reach you. I will always shield you through my light. Though, I want you to stand beside me and fight your own battles just like you have always done. Because you, my love, is a warrior, my warrior queen." I confessed before kissing her forehead. With my one slight movement muffin's sleep was disrupted. She opened her eyes slowly rubbing them with her right hand. When her eyes landed upon me she blinked multiple times to make sure I was there, with her."Dhruv." she called smiling."Yes, love. Good Afternoon." She had slept when I reached home after the mission. I woke up after having a sleep of four hours as my phone's ringtone disturbed my sleep when grandpa had called.I was caress
Author******Arjun and Kiaan entered Surbhi's house from the backside. Though they had permission to go in from the front yet they had to be cautious when going for such a task. Dhruv had already disabled the CCTV of the house and handled the security team so there was nothing to worry about. Both Arjun and Kiaan first climbed up. They went inside the room whose window was open. Surbhi had clearly told them about the house's rooms and directions. To start their plan the first thing they had to do was to find Shanvi's room.It didn't take much effort and time of theirs as the colour of her room's entrance door was off white while others were brown. To their relief, the door to her room was not closed from inside.Shanvi was fast asleep on her bed. Arjun swiftly injected her with the needle and picked her up in his arms."She is heavy," he whispered to Kiaan."So, what did you think, you have to carry a cotton ball?""Still, dud
Author******"Muffin," Dhruv yelled being scared looking at the terrible state of his wife who was lying on the floor and was having difficulty breathing.Everyone gathered listening to Dhruv's voice. Shrikant couldn't see his daughter in the state she was."Saavi," calling her he sat down beside her and not knowing what to do started rubbing her palms."Namit," Dhruv called his friend who understood what he had to do."I am calling the doctor," Namit said taking out his phone."Muffin, ple....please..be with me. Don't close your eyes, please.""Dhruv, she is hyperventilating," said Hredhaan. Dhruv had handled her previously in that state. He was aware of what he had to do. So he pulled her closer, providing her oxygen through his mouth.Rajni witnessed everything that happened with the precious daughter of Surbhi. Her distraught state scared everyone. Author******"I knew Surbhi for long." Rajni started to narrate the truth, the truth she was aware of. She was not the only one who knew the whole truth but she knew more than Shrikant."We used to live in the same locality. She was born into a family that despised her because she was a girl. Even though she was richer than me but was never happy. She never received love from her family. Even after not receiving the love she deserved she never complained. It's not like she never tried, she did. She studied hard, always scored good marks only to be left disappointed in the end as her parents never cared.Surbhi had a dream, to do something for women, to educate society that a girl is not a burden and for the same, she wanted to be an officer. Her family never stopped her from studying, but they were against her decision of joining any institute to study further after her graduation. They wanted to marry her off. But Surbhi had other plans and for the same
Saavi******Dhruv had slept but my sleep was not on my radar. I tried to but couldn't as my mind was filled with numerous thoughts and the jetlag worked as the icing on the cake. I laid down thinking about my life, my journey from a naive kid to a girl who has now mindful of the deepest, darkest secrets of the dark world.I was someone who didn't know the exact meaning of love but now I know the deepest meaning of it, I have felt it, lived it with the person who loves me unconditionally.I was unaware of what a family is until Dhruv stepped into my life. With him came my life's greatest surprises, blissful days, friends who tease me, love me, play with me, and family who treats me as their own.Dhruv seemed tired so without waking him up I got out of the bed and went in the balcony to stay there for a while. I was left startled when I was back hugged by non-other than my husband dearest five minutes after I went to the balcony."You are awa
Author******"Get me out of here," yelled David."Why Pankaj? You have been here for only two days and you have started to hate this place? Am I not a good host?" Saavi questioned innocently taking a seat in front of him. She had found a way on how to torture the devil."Host? You are a bitch, a pathetic bitch, more pathetic than your mother." When David shouted Saavi put her hands over her years and said softly, "Pankaj, calm down, your BP will get high.""How many times do I have to tell you my name is David, David Russo. Call me by my real name, call me David.""Why? Do you find it obnoxious Pankaj Sharma when I call you by your real name?"David stared at the girl sitting right in front of him who didn't look vulnerable to him. She was not whom he had abducted, she was not the one whom he had tortured, instead, she was the one who was confident of herself, someone who carries positive vibes, someone whose aura is strong."
Author******"It was the year 1991 when I first saw her, your mother Surbhi. It was not love at first sight, we met at a coaching institute in Delhi where we both were preparing for Civil Services Examination. Just like my father I wanted to be a cop and had a desire to serve the country." Shrikant started to narrate his part of the past in front of his daughter who was mutely listening to her father's every word holding her husband's hand."We had never talked but one day she approached me asking my help in studies as I was excelling and was scoring good marks in every test being held by the institute. She was demotivated and upset regarding her marks. I helped her and that's how we were introduced. With passing time we became good friends, to be precise, I started to develop feelings for her, but always eschewed myself from getting involved with the technical term Love as my career was my priority for which I had been living. I had already failed in on
