Chapter 217: JACE

They dragged ass back there and I closed the door behind them. Now it was just us guys.

"Jace, you went to the Caymans lately?" Track was on his laptop with a worried look on his face.

"Yep! I beat you to it huh."

"What did you do with it?"

"Let's just say there're three kids back in L.A. with some nice starter funds and one in the bedroom back there."

"What're you guys talking about?" Shane looked from me to Track and back again. "When did you go to the Cayman Islands? And you didn't take me? That sucks bro."

Track and I shared a smile. I don't know if this is how things will work in the future, but in this one thing, I wasn't sharing any information until it was done. All the way done.

I couldn't help thinking how people get themselves in shit that they can't see their way out of. She had a good thing going. I would've left her alone. Save Cassie's family and let her carry on with her shit. It had nothing to do with me after all.
