Adrian''s POV

Days of relentless investigation had brought me no peace. The evidence was circumstantial, but one fact was clear. I knew the truth I didn’t want to face. Elara. Someone I had once loved, someone I had trusted, has turned my life into a nightmare now. She might be the one behind my father’s poisoning. He was still confined to his bed, weak and unresponsive despite all our efforts. The weight of it pressed heavily on me.

Standing in the mirror, I allowed the servants to dress me for the engagement ceremony. My heart felt like it had been weighed down by iron chains. I didn't want to get engaged with her. Not just because of my suspicions about her, but also because my heart belonged to Isla.

I caught sight of my reflection in the mirror. My jaw tightened. "I wasn’t doing this for Elara; I was doing this for the pack, for stability amidst the chaos." I told myself, remembering the previous night when I had gone to confront Elara and ask her to break off the engagement.

Adrian's POVA bitter ache settled in my chest as I watched Lucas relentlessly rally the warriors to search for Isla. It should have been me! Me protecting her... ensuring her safety. Instead, I was trapped in this web of deceit."Isla is my mate," Lucas declared in front of everyone, his steady voice laced with a possessiveness that sent a chill down my spine.I wanted to call it a lie, a desperate ploy. But I couldn't. The conviction in his tone left a shadow of doubt. Could he be telling the truth? Could the Moon Goddess have made Isla his mate too? Even if having multiple mates was rare, it wasn't impossible. The very thought was like a dagger twisting in my chest."No, she is ours! She always has been. She always will be." My wolf growled in protest, a sound that echoed my own turmoil. "He is lying! Don't believe him.""But what if he is not?" I shot back, my voice breaking."You are letting his words poison your mind. Isla is our mate." My wolf snarled, pacing in my mind, demand

Adrian's POVThe days blurred together, each one heavier than the last. Isla was gone, and with her, a piece of my soul had been torn away. I had barely slept, barely eaten. My wolf, restless and agitated, snarled constantly in the back of my mind.“We should’ve protected her,” he growled for the hundredth time, his voice laced with guilt.“I know,” I muttered under my breath, pacing in my office. Maps of the surrounding areas were spread out on the table, marked with Xs for every place we had already searched for her at least twice. “I failed her.”I had mobilized every patrolman and warrior in the pack, sending them out into the dense forests, rivers, and cliffs. But no matter how much ground we covered, there was no sign of her. Nothing but empty trails and silence. On the other hand, the whispers were growing louder.“He ended his engagement with Elara for the other twin,” they muttered. I ignored them. Let them talk. Let them wonder. None of it mattered. Isla was out there, and I

Isla's POVThe days in Stone Pack drifted by in a haze of uncertainty. Stefan was always there, supporting me, taking care of me, and ensuring I was adjusting well. His presence had somehow become my only constant in this strange, unfamiliar life. He spoke with warmth and ease, recounting tales of our supposed shared childhood, filling the void left by my missing memories, and giving a sense of familiarity.Stefan often spoke of our similarities, emphasizing that, like him, I was an orphan. He often reminded me that we were the only support systems for each other. His words were meant to comfort me, yet they left me with an unsettling emptiness. The truth was, despite Stefan's unwavering kindness and the familiarity of his stories, I felt no romantic connection with him. My heart felt… disconnected. It refused to accept him as my fiance. All I could feel towards him was friendship. Moreover, the Stone Pack and its surroundings felt alien, like a world I didn’t belong to. There was no

Isla's POVWhen I heard the name “Black Mountain,” it felt like a boulder had hit me over. Something deep inside me awakened, and my heart fluttered, but not in a pleasant way. It was a jarring, almost painful sensation. Something inside me was trying to claw its way to the surface as a wave of dizziness swept over me.My chest tightened and pain erupted in my head, sharp and unrelenting. Vague fragments of images teased at the edges of my memory, banging on a locked door. But they refused to make a clear shape, making it even more unbearable as I tried harder. My knees buckled as I pulled my head. In my clumsy attempt to steady myself, I stumbled backward, knocking over a vase and shattering it into a dozen sharp shards on the floor. The sound of the crash echoed through the quiet hall, alerting Stefan of my presence.Stefan was at my side in an instant, his face etched with concern. I was scared, for a second, that he would blame me for eavesdropping. But it soon washed away under t

The once unshakable determination I had held as the future Alpha of the Black Mountain Pack had faded, replaced by overwhelming grief. Somehow, everything felt meaningless without her and impossible without my father's guidance.I drowned myself in alcohol, hoping to numb the ache in my chest. Adrian's POVThe moment the report of Stone Pack’s attack reached me, I knew there was no time to waste. I called for an emergency council meeting, but my decision had already been made. I would personally lead our forces to the eastern border. My pack needed me, and if there was a chance to uncover the truth behind all this, I had to seize it.I knew the Stone Pack's attack on our eastern border wasn’t just an act of war. It was a calculated move, timed to exploit our Pack’s vulnerability. They thought we were weak now. But I would ensure they regret this."What do you plan, Adrian?" Ryan asked, his eyes burning with determination.“Mobilize the army,” I commanded, my voice sharp and unyielding. “I am going to the frontlines myself.”"Are you sure?" He asked, surprised. "I could lead them." Even if I knew he was capable, I knew I had to lead to increase the morale of the pack at this hasty situation. Their old alpha was critical and now there was this war. The air was cool and crisp, carrying the faint scent of pine and wildflowers. Silver moonlight filtered through the towering trees, casting an ethereal glow on the ground.Adrian lay motionless in my arms, his skin pale, his breathing shallow. My heart twisted painfully at the sight of him like this. He was so close to slipping away.“No, no, no,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “Adrian, you can’t leave me. Not like this.”As tears spilled down my cheeks, a voice deep within me stirred. But his breathing grew weaker, his body colder.A low, mournful howl rose in my chest, and my wolf’s voice echoed in my mind, strong and resolute. "You are more than what you think, Isla. The power to save him is within you. But it comes at a cost.""What cost?" I choked, desperation clawing at my throat."Everything."Befor

Please, stay with me.”His once-brilliant twinkling eyes flickered weakly, breaking something inside me. Isla's POVStefan let out a sharp laugh, his smirk taunting, as he eyed Adrian with nothing but contempt.“You have some nerve, waltzing into my territory, sabotaging my wedding, disrespecting my bride, and demanding what isn't yours,” Stefan mocked, his voice dripping with arrogance. "This is Stone Pack’s territory, Adrian. And you? You’re just a trespasser. Did you think I would just let you take her?”With a single flick of his wrist, a squad of guards stepped forward, forming a strong barrier between Adrian and me. Their golden brown eyes gleamed as they shifted slightly, their claws elongating, ready to strike.A few of his own men stepped beside him, growling lowly, their muscles tensed as if ready to completely shift at a moment’s notice. The tension was suffocating. The guests were frozen, uncertain of whether to stay or run.Adrian didn’t flinch. I knew that look in his eyes. They were blazing with determination, fury, an unshakable will. His stance was unyielding, muscles ta

For a second I wondered if he was the same boy with whom I grew up, the one who had always been by my side, who had laughed with me and cried with me. It was as if those memories had never existed at all.I wanted to believe him. I wanted to reach out and grasp onto something familiar, something that could anchor me in the storm of confusion and pain swirling inside me. But I knew better.Everything had changed. This wasn’t the Stefan I had known. He was gone. This man before me was different: colder, obsessed, and dangerous. His eyes did not give the same vibe of affection but were filled with something I could barely recognize.Hatred. My heart ached, not just for what had been taken from me, but for him too. For the part of him that had been lost to whatever darkness had consumed him.And now, he

Isla's POVAs I crushed the herbs I had been secretly gathering since my captivity with my trembling hands, my heart pounded with anticipation. I mixed them carefully, crafting the sleeping draught. Every step felt perilous, but desperation sharpened my focus. I needed to escape. Now or never. When the maid came over, I threw the powder substance in her face, taking her by surprise. She soon fell unconscious, confirming the effectiveness. I seized the opportunity, grabbing the keys from her. Something primal stirred within me, urging caution.Sliding into the hallways, I pressed myself against the cold walls, my breath shallow. The air was heavy with tension as I tried to move past the guards without getting caught. Every footstep was deliberate, measured. Freedom was just ahead. I could almost feel the night air beckoning me like a promise waiting outside the large wooden door in front of me.But fate, as cruel as ever, had other plans.“Stop her!”The guards’ shouts tore through the

  • Eclipse of Twin Flames   Chapter 93

Stefan’s POVThe flickering torchlight in the cavernous chamber made the shadows dance eerily on the stone walls. “She’s still resistant,” I admitted, my tone laced with frustration. “Even after all this time, she won’t submit. She’s regaining her memory, and it’s making her defiant.”Marcus tilted his head, his lips curling into a faint, sinister smile. “Ah, but resistance is merely a symptom of a will unbroken. This will help.”As I paced along the room, the weight of my plan pressing heavily on my mind. Tomorrow, everything will fall into place. Isla would become mine in name and bond, and Adrian... Adrian would meet the end he deserved. The memory of my exile still burned in my chest, a constant reminder of the humiliation Adrian had caused me. He had taken everything away from me. My status, my pack, my pride. Even Isla. My parents died for the Black Mountain pack and in return all I got was suffering. Now, I would take everything away from him. Once he is dead, the pack will st

  • Eclipse of Twin Flames   Chapter 92

Adrian’s POVThe tent was stifling, even if it was a cold morning. My fists clenched at my sides, the crumpled wedding invitation lying discarded on the table, a cruel reminder that everything was going awfully according to his plan. The thought of Isla, trapped and manipulated, was a rage I couldn’t contain. "I am going to kill Stefan. How dare he think that he can marry Isla in front of me!" I growled, my voice low and dangerous. “Adrian,” Ryan began cautiously, his voice full of reasoning, “you need to think this through. Stefan is not just inviting you out of arrogance or showing you that he was the one who finally had Isla. This invitation... it’s a bait. He wants you to come. He has probably already planned for every move you might make.”I spun to face him, my chest heaving with restrained fury. “I don’t care if it’s a trap,” I snapped. “I won’t let him marry her. I won’t let him use Isla like some pawn.”“And if she’s there willingly?” Ryan’s question sliced through me, but

Adrian's POVI stood before the map laid out on the table, my fists clenched as my eyes scanned the enemy’s positions. The weight of the situation bore heavily on my shoulders. I should have felt proud to lead such capable warriors. But all I felt was the gnawing ache of loss. Isla’s face haunted me... her wide, confused eyes, the way her voice shook when she told me she didn’t remember me.But I remembered her. Every detail. Every moment.Isla was still trapped in the Stone Pack, surrounded by lies and danger. But most importantly, she was being manipulated by Stefan. I couldn't believe someone could stoop as low as Stefan to win over a woman they claim to love. I would never do that.“You are not thinking straight,” Ryan’s voice interrupted my thoughts.I turned to him sharply. “I am thinking clearly enough to know we can’t sit here while Stefan keeps her under his thumb.” I clenched my fists, my resolve growing stronger. "I will bring her back. No matter what.”Ryan stepped closer,
