Goddess Selene’s POV

“Do you not see what they are planning?” Steff asks me. “I do. But they have free will. I will not interfere without a good cause.”

“Selene, they have suppressed their wolves for so long that they are too weak to do anything. Aren’t you concerned about them?”

“I am. But the human is more dominant. The wolves will get a new host in time. The human has the choice. If they want to live their life, being jealous of others because they have something they don’t. Let them.” I can see Steff’s frustration as she paces around in circles. “If they attempt to harm me, I will do something.” She mumbles something and when I ask her about it, she denies saying anything. I know what she said. I just wanted to see if she would tell me.
