CHAPTER FORTY ONE

It was 11:45pm already.

Claire yawned. She was feeling sleepy already.

"Mmm... None for now...." She replied drowsily

"But....I do have a...a request. That would be...later though "

"What request?"

There was no answer

"Claire?"

From her gentle snoring, it dawned on Jake that she had fallen asleep!

He smiled.

"Goodnight Claire" he said as he wrapped his arms back, around her and planted a kiss on her hair.

It was midnight now.

And in an apartment, in the same town where Claire and Jake had just had and amazing reunion together and with their son, someone was dialing a number.

Ring!..Click!

"Yes?" A male voice answered, he sounded mechanical.

"I met Jake today. He came looking for her." The caller, a female voice, said.

"Are you sure it was him?"

"Yes, I am"

"Good. Keep an eye on them and keep me updated"

"Aren't we making our move now? We waited so long..."
