Street fight

"Bye idiots! Thank you for joining us!" Showing gratitude for coming to her house, she kisses both her best friends as they leave the place to attend their own schedules. At last again, Ravine and Aaron were all alone in her house.

"I wanna go street shopping." Aaron suddenly announces. Removing the apron, he gets closer to her and embraces her.

"Thank you for inviting them. I know why you did it." He says, "Don't Thank me. I don't want a sappy gloomy sex slave in my house, that's why." She reasons as he chuckles.

"But yeah. Let's go shopping!" She announces.

It was around 4 in the evening when the two step out and head towards a local street market. Aaron must have liked the Hawaiian streets and it's nights filled with delicacies. He still regrets going out though. But he's made a promise to himself to never let the lady alone again.

"Oh, that's a really cool bag!" Ravine looks at the tote bag and claims it. Aaron takes out his wallet to pay for the tote when Ravine glares at him.

"I own you still, remember?"

"Can't forget my manners, right?" The way Ravine blushed was insane. She, however ended up paying for the bag. She filled the bag with goodies from her shopping spree.

In the end, around 7 in the evening, the two stop by at a local street style cafe. Aaron should have expected thugs to be around this area, especially when someone like Ravine was around here.

Ravine, sensing danger as soon as the group of five enter the cafe wears her mask.

"Maam, your order please?" The waitress asks.

"A large cappuccino for me."

"I'll have a frappe and bread rolls. Thanks." Aaron gives his order after Ravine. It was a self service zone as Aaron and Ravine waited for their order.

Somehow, the whole cafe was free but the thugs chose to sit to the table next to them. Ravine felt incredibly uncomfortable. She wears the newly purchased hat atop her head. Aaron on the other hand was getting more and more pissed at the idiots.

Out of the blue, a guy from the group starts whistling cheaply. The other guys were laughing, but someone crossed the line and made a comment.

"Look at her, bruh. So plump and sexy!" They whisper amongst themselves. But they've heard it.

Feeling disgusted, Ravine covers her side with the tote bag. Aaron was grinding his teeth together. He could see how Ravine was growing more and more uncomfortable.

"Bruh, that guy is like a loser in front of her. Hey, miss!" The guy whispers, then calls for Ravine and whistles like a runt to get her attention. Ravine wanted to cry in frustration at that point.

She wanted to remember how she cannot work while she went to jail. She didn't want Aaron to go to jail either.

The young man in front of her was exuding devilish vibes.

Ravine felt, if Aaron was given one more reason to lose his temper, the five boys would definitely end up in hospitals. He looked menacing to her.

"Aaron. Stay quiet." She whispers softly to him, holding his hand over the table. The thugs whistle and pass comments again. Now talking about her hand on his and how they 'would like it on their d!cks'.

"Aaron...?" Ravine felt hee chest thumping on her ribs. It was certified, that Aaron was ready to fight now.

"Ma'am! Your order is here." The waitress calls for the only woman customer in there.

"Okay!" Calls Ravine as she goes to fetch their order while Aaron kept his stance ready to attack. The air was chilling around him, but the thugs stare him down just the way he was glaring at them.

As Ravine made her way back, the boys whispered amongst themselves, "Touch that girl's butt. I'll give you 20$." The guy says to the one sitting at the corner.

Aaron didn't hear them yet. But if he did, they would have been dead by now.

Ravine was reaching their seat with the tray of their orders. The corner sitting guy 'accidentally' grabs the woman's ass. Ravine jumps and makes all the stuff fall off the tray.

Aaron looses it.

"Aaron no—!" Before she could control him, the man was already standing and throws the harshest punch in the history to the boy's face. Ravine covers her mouth, horrified when she hears a giant crack sound coming from the boy's face.

Aaron almost broke the chair with the impact of his punch. The guy was sent down to hell as Aaron began kicking him like a punching bag.

"You fucking asshole! It's because of you women don't feel fucking safe!" Aaron was way too quick at his kicks. Even the other guys felt inferior to his rage.

Until...

"You..." the guys gang up on Aaron. The restaurant owners couldn't do anything but audience the scene. Ravine was crying for help, because it was one guy against five thugs.

She didn't want Aaron to get hurt. Not even a scratch because he doesn't deserve it.

But Aaron was a different breed.

All those exercises for holding a heavy camera above his shoulders, paid off.

His punches were like none other. After taking down three guys by himself, Ravine was confident he would get a scratch on himself.

So, she starts cheering on him.

"Yeah! Beat them the fuck down, Aaron!" She screams like a cheerleader. The woman was psychotic, thanks to her association with Charlie.

"Kill them!" She goes overboard. Even Aaron knew his limits.

The fourth guy was slightly terrified of the real street thug. Aaron was simply unmatchable.

But the guy who was defeated before holds Aaron's ankles, stopping him from moving.

However, that was such a golden opportunity for Aaron to release all his violence on the thugs.

His other free leg stomps the hand that grabbed his ankle. A nice scrunch sound made the two more satisfied than ever.

Suddenly, they hear the sound of the police. They must have seen the commotion through the glasses.

But again, the cafe owner summons the two.

"Sir, ma'am! This way!" Aaron knew what it was. Ravine took her tote bag which had everything in it and began collecting some loose notes.

She shoves them at the owner and smiles brightly as he opens the door from the backside for them.

The police were entering, not knowing the fighters were escaping. They don't want to be questioned and waste their time.

While running, Ravine kicks the face of the man with her block heels. She might have broken his jaw too as he screams as loudly than ever.

Chuckling, she quickly runs away while holding Aaron's hands.

They keep running, never turning back. The street lights were beginning to show up, ever so lightly.

They finally pause in the middle of a street which didn't have any more population on the ground.

It was a chilly January.

The street lights switch on, illuminating both the sides.

Under the street lights, the two finally look at each other. The laughter came out naturally, a mix of adrenaline and fear of the police.

They laugh like hyenas and clowns.

The laughter dies down, both looking into each other's eyes.

Ravine slowly drops the tote bag to the ground, letting it stain the soil from a memory they will never forget so soon.

Under the street lights, the two come forth. Her hands around his neck while he delicately pressed her against himself.

They speak,

"I've never had such a moment in my life, Aaron."

"Me neither." He responds with, slightly panting.

Both had their hearts racing, but none of their words coming to their mouths. They wanted to confess to each other. They wanted to let each other know how empty their lives have been before meeting each other.

But none of those words make it out of their mouths.

But something else does.

They say, if words can't do the job, their actions can.

And so they inch towards each other, slowly melting into one another.

Their lips meet in the most passionate, slow burning kiss they've ever had. The moon was shining on them, the street lights even more so.

That night, they confirmed one thing.

Three hours or three months, they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other.
