ALEXANDER POV
I stared at her as she was taken away, and my heart sank. I didn’t understand why, but I felt a deep pain knowing she was being sent to a mental hospital. The very thought drove me to the brink of insanity. She was the mother of my newborns, and that made me weak. I wanted to protect her, to take her in my arms and comfort her, maybe even take her like I did nine months ago. “Fuck! You’re insane,” I cursed internally, fighting against my wolf. The damn wolf wouldn’t give me peace, not after Daniela was taken away. “You know you can’t shame your family. You can’t admit you had a one-night stand with an Omega. You can’t admit that, right?” I tried to convince Ronald, my wolf, but he kept on wiggling inside me, making it hard to concentrate. “She’s not our mate. Why are you fighting for her?” “I don’t know, but I feel she should be.” “Keep dreaming. We can’t have an Omega as our mate. That’s why we had to get rid of her after she gave birth.” I tried to reason with him, but my wolf wouldn’t listen. He kept fighting me, causing my eyes to change from dark to yellowish. As soon as she was taken out, I rushed upstairs to the room where my pups were. I needed to calm myself down. The only person who could calm my mind was Daniela and i had realised that in our one night stand, but now, she was gone for good. Surprisingly, she was the only one who made me feel alive that night at the club. That was the reason for our one-night stand. She was an Omega, but I didn’t understand why I was so drawn to her. It felt like a connection I couldn’t explain. After her, I never found the same satisfaction with another she-wolf. Walking into the room after leaving the guests in the living hall, I heard my pups crying and clenched my fists. Since Beta Lucas took them away from Daniela in the labour ward, they had been crying non-stop. One of them had a headache from all the crying. “Rose, why is she crying? Are you tired of your work?” I roared, and the Omega shook her head vigorously, trying to soothe the baby. “Bring her here,” I ordered, and she quickly complied. “What’s wrong, my love? Don’t cry, daddy is here.” I smiled at her small fingers as I played with them. I decided to name my baby girl Katherine after Laura’s mother, to appease Laura. Laura’s pack was vast and wealthy, while mine was struggling after what happened in my family. That’s why my mother chose Laura as my mate, hoping her pack would help ours grow. My phone rang, and I pulled it from my pocket. Katie quieted down, playing with her fingers while Nathaniel was with the other maid in the room. Seeing a private number on the caller ID, I frowned. “Rose, take her and prepare her anf her brother for the party. I need to take this.” The Omega rushed over, took Katie, and I left the room. “Brother.” I heard the voice on the other end and froze, my eyes widening in the hallway. “Alphonce!” I cleared my throat, trying to compose myself, but I was anything but calm. I rushed to the railings, leaning my left hand there while gripping the phone tightly with my right. “Are you surprised to hear from me?” “What do you want, Alphonce?” I hissed, flabbergasted and nervous. “Oh, stop it, brother. Have you already forgotten what mother and you did to me?” I exhaled deeply, raising my eyes to the ceiling. “Stay away from us, Alphonce. You said you didn’t want anything to do with us, remember?” “I said that, but I didn’t say I wouldn’t come back for revenge.” “Are you threatening me?” “I’m not. Just be careful, brother.” “Hello? Hello?” The call was cut off abruptly, just like the relationship I had with Alphonce. “Fuck it!” I paced back and forth, wondering what was on Alphonce’s mind, but I couldn’t figure it out. Why come after all these years? What was he planning? “My love.” I turned to see Laura strutting towards me. “Yes.” “I’ve made her disappear,” she said with a smile satified with her actions, raising her face for a kiss on the cheek. “We need to prepare for the party.” I nodded, faking a smile, then walked side by side with her into the room. I still needed to talk to my mother about the sudden call from Alphonce. ********* ALPHONCE POV I formed a sinister smile as I stared at the phone in my hand, then threw it back in my pocket. “Home sweet home,” I murmured, smiling at the sight before me. “Sir, everything is in order,” one of my men said, and I nodded. Who would have thought I’d get the chance to avenge my mate so soon? “Good, let’s go.” I rushed to the back door of the car, one of the men already opening it for me. I jumped in, leaning my head back on the seat. I still couldn’t believe I was back here, a place I vowed ten years ago never to return to. But could I be blamed for seeking revenge on those who wronged my mate and me? And who were they but my own biological family? Should I remove my glasses? No. Who knew what the paparazzi would do? Plus, I didn’t want to hear the obvious comments. “Is he the Alpha?” “Wow! But our Alpha doesn’t dress like that.” I smiled at those familiar comments and closed my eyes, adjusting my black suit as the driver accelerated. Time for vengeance!DANIELA POV"Open the door! You need to open the door!" I banged on the door forcefully, desperate to escape this dungeon of a hospital. "I'm not mentally ill! Please let me out. I need to go back to my babies!" I screamed again and again, but no one came. Defeated, I turned to face the others in the room, sliding to the floor and leaning against the door in despair. It had been three days since I was wrongly accused of being mentally ill and thrown into this mental hospital. My life had changed completely since I arrived here. Being in a mental hospital was not something I ever expected, especially not after giving birth to my two adorable babies. It was the least of my worries. But here I was, sleeping and eating with crazy people, sometimes doubting my own sanity.Did I really give birth recently, or was I indeed sick in the head? Was I imagining things? Hell no! How could I forget the fact that I struggled alone, doing hard labour just to survive and take care of my pregnancy? How
DANIELA POV"Are you alright?" A tall, well-built, handsome man in a blue suit asked as he walked beside me. I nodded, allowing him to hold my hand and help me navigate the crowded airport terminal. We had just descended the long stairs of the plane, and his assistance was appreciated."Thank you," I said sincerely, looking up at him and smiling while holding back the joyful tears that wanted to rush down behind my sunglasses. He gently pushed a strand of my brunette hair away from my face and tucked it behind my ear. Yes, I had changed my hair color, but that was a story for another day.It had been five years since I was last here. The weather, the surroundings, and the entire look of Biafra Airport hadn't changed much in all those years. But anyway, I didn't care. I would take care of what brought me here and then leave."Hey, why are you crying?" he asked, his voice filled with concern. Hell no! I hadn't realized I was crying. Quickly, I wiped the subconscious tears from my cheeks
"What? What are you trying to do?" Alphonce's voice trembled with a mix of confusion and sadness. His jaw hung open, his shoulders slumped, and a heavy sigh escaped him. He looked as if he wasn't the billionaire the world knew right now.He was completely sad but I wasn't having it. He lied to me all these years! No! He might have been my saviour five years ago, but that didn't mean he had the right to deceive me. Who knew, maybe he had planned all this from the start. A sudden realisation hit me, and my eyes widened."Philip! Open the door right now, or I'll call the police and tell them you kidnapped me!" My eyes were glaring coldly at the driver that he had to drop his face down."What? You can't do that, Gift. Where will you go? It's not safe for you alone.”"Don't 'Gift' me!" I snapped, turning abruptly to the driver. "Philip! I won't repeat myself!" The driver, clearly caught off guard, glanced between me and his boss, confusion etched on his face. But I didn't care. All I wante
ALPHONCE POVI paced back and forth inside my new hotel room, unable to settle. Fear was etched on my face as I tried to remain composed, but it was in vain. How could I be calm after what had happened yesterday at the airport that led Gift to get out of the car in the middle of nowhere? My Gift!Goddess knew how much I cared for that beauty. All I could think about was the phone in my right hand. I kept calling her, not giving up, but she never answered. “Damn it! She’s angry with me!” I muttered, frustrated. Daniela had never looked at me like that before. There was also betrayal and not with that alone, but with disappointment. My Daniela was disappointed in me and it broke my heart into a thousand pieces by just thinking of that. This was the first time in five years that she had behaved this way. Daniela, or Gift, was always calm, never getting angry even when people made fun of her skin, which was all white due to a fire that had burned her. They would laugh and stare until
I scanned from side to side as I rushed through the long hallway and down the staircases. I still couldn't believe she was here. Daniela, the mother of my two adorable kids, was here. 'She is not the one,' I tried to convince myself, but it was hard. I knew I would be disappointed if she wasn't, but my heart wouldn't stop pounding in my chest. I could feel its thumping in my ears. My wolf was jumping and stirring in my head, full of life, but no matter how many times I asked him why he was so happy, he wouldn't say anything. Just like five years ago, after learning that Daniela was dead, he remained silent. It was hard for me because I felt weak as an Alpha. I couldn't perform my duties well back the but later on, my wolf forgave me.But, it took me long before I could come to terms with it.Pushing all thoughts behind me, I turned to another hallway and followed a corner that led to the living room of the packhouse. I froze, my knees going numb at the thought of meeting her again.
DANIELA POV"Her name is Gift. She’s here to make your baby sister a beautiful princess dress for your upcoming birthday," Lura answered, and I felt a burning in my heart. My heart dropped as I gazed at the little boy in front of me. I wanted to wrap him in my arms, kiss his full cheeks, and run my hands through his dark hair, just like his sister’s. But I couldn't. All my babies were in front of me, yet they felt so far away.Holy shit! Would I survive this?'You need to calm down, Ela. You need to control yourself before they find out about us and chase us away from our pups permanently. Who knows what this heartless woman might do when she finds out we are back, that we didn’t die?' Elena's voice echoed in my head, and I sighed. She was right. I had to be careful. I couldn't risk being discovered. I had to do what I came here for and leave. Time would come—time to take back everything these heartless people took from me. I would avenge every pain they caused me.Clenching my teet
But instead of shouting and lashing out, I broke into a hard laugh, causing the man before me to gaze at me in confusion. "You are really something else, Alpha," I continued after the laughter subsided. He sighed, visibly frustrated."But anyway, I am so sorry to disappoint you because I am not who you think I am," I said, though internally, I was burning with fury. The urge to slap him multiple times surged within me, a desperate need to pour out all my anger from five years ago on him. Even knowing it wouldn't be enough, I craved any outlet for the rage simmering inside my heart."Could you guys be related? Because she looks just like you. Her scent is also all over you," he remarked, his observation making my shoulders tense. The urge to avert my gaze was strong, but this was the moment to ask the question that had been gnawing at me for so long."Why are you into this person? Who was she to you?" I blurted out. Alexander stepped back, his face falling. Sadness shadowed his demeano
"The hell are you doing in my room? And who gave you permission to get in?" I stopped at the door, feeling anger rise within me as I glared at the person standing comfortably by the window."Gift, you are...""Please, don't 'gift' me!" I shouted at him and spun toward the hallway. "Who allowed him in my—"Before I could finish, Alphonce was already behind me, pulling me inside the room while covering my mouth to prevent further shouting."Please, you need to listen to me. I can't stay away from you anymore." I pushed him away, freezing at his words."What? What are you even saying?" I ran my hands through my hair, trying to calm my racing heart. I didn’t know how to deal with these two men anymore. I had just come from Alexander's place and hadn’t even rested, and now Alphonce was on my throat. What did they want from me?Did they want to finish me?Well, at this point, I could tell they would succeed."Look at me, Gift." Alphonce cupped my cheeks, and despite my anger, I faced him. H
ALEXANDER’S POVWhat the hell was wrong with me? I was losing it, and this was not who I was. I had always been in control of my emotions, never letting them cloud my judgment. But ever since Gift reappeared, everything had started crumbling. The past—the one I had buried so deep—came clawing back to the surface like a beast refusing to be tamed.Daniela.Her name alone sent a sharp pang through my chest. It was like a curse that refused to leave me, a wound that never truly healed. And now, with every look, every movement, every damn breath Gift took, I saw her. I felt her. I remembered everything I did.Sighing, I turned and followed.*****LAURA’S POVI hated her. Hated her to my very bones, and I knew she was aware of it. She had to be. How could she not? The air between us crackled with unspoken words, with loathing so thick it could suffocate.Everything about her reminded me of Daniela—that pathetic low-life Omega who never knew her place. Even when I tried to erase her from ex
ALEXANDER’S POVAfter thirty minutes, everything concerning the pups was over. They had cut their cake, their laughter ringing through the air as they received gifts from friends, family, business partners, investors, and even Alphas and Lunas from other packs who had come with their children to celebrate. Now, with the festivities winding down, Laura had taken the pups to their room. A part of me hesitated to let her take them, but I pushed the thought away. Maybe I was overthinking. But something about Laura unsettled them, and I couldn’t ignore it any longer. The way their tiny hands clung to me before she led them away, the way their eyes darted toward me as if asking for reassurance.I needed to find someone else—someone I could trust—to care for my pups. Not Rose. Not the maids. Someone whose loyalty would be to me alone. I would make arrangements soon.Exhaling sharply, I turned back to the guests, scanning the room. Most of the pups had been taken home, leaving only the adults
ALEXANDER’S POVBACK TO PRESENTShock and relief crashed over me at the sight of Miss Gift. A part of me had been certain she wouldn’t come. But here she was, standing among the guests, her scent unmistakable even before I turned to look at her.I had promised myself that I would speak to her, but now wasn’t the time. Not with all these people around. Not when the weight of unanswered questions sat heavily on my chest. I needed clarity, but first, I needed patience.Yet my stepmother, as expected, couldn't let her breathe since she arrived. And then there was something else—something that nagged at the edges of my mind. The way Miss Gift tensed when she fell into my arms, the way her body stiffened before realizing it was me. It was like she had seen a ghost. That reaction... it was too much. Too telling.I was right. She was Daniela. The resemblance, the familiarity, the way my heart reacted in her presence—it was all too similar to what I felt that night, years ago. My instincts nev
ALEXANDER'S POVA FEW MINUTES BEFORE THE BIRTHDAY PARTYI had been looking for her since that night—since the moment that haunted my every waking thought. No matter how hard I tried to push it away, it refused to fade. It was burned into my soul.Daniela. My little wolf. My ajo. She had survived that night five years ago. I was sure of it.But if she had survived… where the hell was she?My men had combed every inch of the city, yet she remained a ghost. It was as if the earth had swallowed her whole. There was no way she could have vanished into thin air.A sharp vibration in my back pocket snapped me from my thoughts. My heart pounded as I pulled out my phone. Staring at the caller ID, I inhaled deeply, willing my temper to stay in check. This person better have good news. Otherwise, I might just lose it.I clicked ‘okay’ and brought the phone to my ear. “Anything?” My voice was cold, direct.“Alpha,” the voice on the other end hesitated. “It seems Luna Laura was involved in what ha
DANIELA/GIFT POVMy wolf, Elena, had been strangely silent since that night.I swallowed hard, unwilling to admit—to even myself—that I knew exactly who I had been with. But the plan was simple. Pretend I didn’t remember anything.“Excuse me, I need to prepare the gifts for the kids,” I said, my voice measured, my gaze locked on Alphonce. I deliberately ignored his request, knowing that my heart—no, my entire being—was elsewhere. Especially after that damned night.Goddess.I scoffed under my breath, my frustration simmering beneath my skin. Without another word, I turned on my heels and strode toward the entrance, my movements stiff with suppressed emotion.I could feel Alphonce’s eyes on me, a scorching weight against my back, but he didn’t follow. A deep sigh of relief left my lips, my chest heaving as tension slowly uncoiled inside me. If he had come after me, I wasn’t sure what I would’ve said. What was I supposed to say?All this time, I had believed that my feelings wavered bet
GIFT'S POV"They are in the car. We’re just waiting for the right time to bring them in, ma’am," Thomas reported, his voice low but certain.I gave him a small nod of approval. "Good job, Thomas."He hesitated, shifting slightly on his feet. I caught it immediately. "What is it?""Should I deal with Miss Gloria for trying to make you fall?" he asked, his tone sharp, edged with unspoken fury.A laugh almost bubbled up in my throat. My men were attentive—too attentive sometimes. They knew better than to stir up unnecessary chaos, especially when it concerned Alexander’s family."No need," I dismissed with a smirk. "The woman is already dying with old age."Thomas let out a deep chuckle before giving a respectful nod and walking away.I had made it clear that I hated being followed everywhere like a fragile thing. That wasn’t who I was. They needed to act like they weren’t with me, and for now, they obeyed. My focus shifted to the stage, where Alexander stood tall on the podium, his pres
GIFT'S POVI had no idea why I was here. After what happened at that hotel, I should have stayed far away, buried myself in my work, and pretended that night never existed. But here I was, standing outside the grand hotel, preparing to step into the very place where my past and present would collide. Two weeks had passed since that night—the night I let my past haunt me again, the night I made the biggest mistake of my life. I had worked so hard to bury those memories, to pretend they never existed, yet one foolish decision had brought them crashing back with brutal force.I had been drunk, yes. But I still knew it was him.He was my second one-night stand. And the irony of it all? Both times, it had been with the same man.The very thought made my stomach twist but I couldn’t forget that night. The man was gentle and wild at the same time but he made me want more than just the pressure which I knew it was wrong, especially after what he did to me five years ago."Ma’am, we’ve arrived
‘What do you mean? Who is she to us?’‘Is she our mate?’ I voice trembled, scared at my own words as I continued, dread filling my heart at the possibility.‘She isn’t our mate,’ He broke out and deep down, I felt disappointed but there was nothing I could do.‘Okay,’ Unhappily, I murmured before ignoring Ronald completely.Ignoring him, I lost myself in the rhythm, our bodies moving together as if we were made for each other. The only sounds in the room were her soft moans, my breaths, and the steady rhythm of our bodies."God, Daddy. You are so sweet!” she moaned, and I couldn’t hold back. I moved faster, my hands roaming her body as I pushed us both to the brink, making sure to touch every part of her hole, pushing her hard and deep.By now, I was sure my eyes were red with lust. This she-wolf was sweet, damnit!I would do anything to make sure she was mine!In one swift motion, I pushed all of my long and thick cock inside of her. She widened her legs as she moaned, her eyes alrea
ALEXANDER'S POV“You don’t have to ask twice—once is enough for a beauty like you,” I murmured, unable to resist what I felt any longer. I wanted her. I needed her. I yearned for her, and absolutely nothing could stop the desire I had for the little wolf in my arms. She was an Omega when she left, but here she was, beautiful, intelligent, and strong. Now, I realized I hadn't been wrong to trust my instincts. Somehow, I just knew this was the same miss Gift, despite her now-different hair colour.“Aah, please don’t make me wait!” she moaned, her hands trailing down between her legs. Her cheeks were flushed, and she lay back on the bed, turning her head slightly as she shyly reached out to pull me closer."Be patient, beauty. All beautiful things come with patience." My voice was firm but laced with longing as I hovered over her.Gosh, I missed this so much. I wanted her, and yet deep down, I knew I shouldn’t do this. She’d been poisoned; she wasn’t herself. I knew I should leave, let h
