26. Pay Back Time 1

“Grandpa, you sent for,” Alfred said, when he was before his grandfather. Now, he felt differently, but he was unaware of the cause.

“Yes, I sent for you. How are you?”

“I'm fine, grandpa,” he answered nervously, and fixed his eyes into his grandfather's weak eyes. Although he was bedridden, he was able to scan him. Then, he sluggishly sat up, and declared, “That marriage is null and void because you were not in your right frame of mind when it was contracted. Besides, the Third Princess of the Martin's family was not on the list of my marriage proposal with late Martin.”

Now, Alfred wondered how he got the news, and tried to explain, "Grandpa, but…”

“Before you say anything, go back to the court, and annul the marriage if you still regard me as your grandfather, and wished to be a member of the Walter's family,” he thundered.
