"I am in pain," she muttered under her breath.

"I am aware that it will take some time for you to recover. It's possible that you will become ill as well because your temperature was quite high earlier," Madam Zilla warned.

"What is your name?" Flora asked

Why don't you go into the toilet and take a bath first? I'll wait here for you." Then you eat, and we can have a more pleasant conversation," Madam Zilla said.

Flora was able to pull herself up from the bed, all the while making a concerted effort to take in every sensation.

Flora went in, and after spending almost an hour in the bathroom attempting to take a proper and thorough wash, she came out. "That's the bathroom," Madam Zilla pointed out to Flora. "That's the bathroom."

She did not argue with Madam Zilla when she gave her the maid's uniform, which consisted of a short skirt and a blouse. She had seen other girls wearing the same thing, and nobody needed to tell her that she was becoming a maid because she already knew it.
