2024-10-29 19:42:56Laura was standing at the entrance to the rooftop, watching her friend paced to and fro when Rubin walked in on her from behind.
"Was wondering where you left to." He said, making Laura jerked, swiftly turning in the process to meet his face just an inch away.She stood staring at him with those puppy grey eyes and the whole world seemed to froze at that moment. Taking in the sight of those shinning blue eyes, an unusual sensation raced through her heart, making it thump faster. "W–what's this feeling?" She grumbled mentally to herself.It was Rubin's first time having this close eye contact with Laura. He felt those eyes telling him something but couldn't place a hand on what it could be. Her eyes bored into him and for a second, he felt like curbing her face. To assure her he would be there for her and protect her. To tell her everything was going to be alright.

"Guess my mind was just playing tricks on me". Mya eluded, her eyes lurked around for the last time before she finally settled in her car and drove off.Ben and his friends, Fred and Patrick quickly came out from their hideout."Where did she go ". He swiftly sped to his car, a black Tundra, parked a few meters away from them."Quickly, get in, we got to catch up with her before we lose her". He instinctively added. " We can't afford to lose her now."A sense of rage and a wolfish, threatening glare lingered all over his face as he quickly sat over the wheel and boggled his seat belt. Patrick and Fred joined in at the back seat and they sped off with the flash of lightening.

Ben, Patrick and Fred impatiently sat edged on as they waited endlessly in the car for Mya. Fred glanced through the car's window, examining the dense cloud coupled with the howling wind and the streaks of lightening which enveloped the hard- driving rain.It was actually raining cat and dog with basically no sign of ending soon, which made the penetrating cold weather unbearable. He huffed, brushing his palms together." Alixies finally made it out of her coma state after an endless week of undetermined fate~ everyone had just hoped she survived without any assurance at all. This revelation had brought pure joy and jubilation to both Laura and Alixies' families. With the news, Laura was the second to rush to her ward in her wheelchair after her mother had hurried home for a few stuff."Alixi...." She called from the doorway as she rolled over.
