Chapter 128: The Creature’s Memories

I blinked, trying to adjust to the overwhelming darkness around me. It was like being submerged in ink, thick and suffocating.

There was no light, no sound—only a vast emptiness that stretched in every direction. I couldn’t tell if I was floating or falling, my senses completely disoriented.
