Selfless Rose

“Rose, what is this?” Zebian glanced at her face and back to the splinter that was near her wrist.

“Put it down, it’s not really brave of you,” Zebian warned her with his finger pointing at the wrist as he stepped ahead.

“I will hurt myself if you hurt her,” Renai stepped back when Zebian tried to step ahead. “No, stay where you are, I said I will hurt myself,” She neared the splinter to her skin. Zebian stepped back.

“Okay, stop, this is not funny and I am not liking it,” Zebian gritted out, downbeat.
