I still felt the same panic and fear coursing through me that I did when I saw her on that floor. I had been so stupid for not realizing that something else was wrong. She lost a lot of blood, and that made me scared as fuck.

She had to be okay. Seeing her so close to death once was enough to terrify me, but seeing it again threatened my sanity. She had to make it through. I could not handle it if she was not in my life any longer.

“Dent. There was an attack on Jadelynn by a student. We will be leaving here with the three Guardians and her parents once she is released by the hospital. We will need a medic team sent with the extraction team to rendezvous point.”
