Chapter-2

Gasping I sit up on bed with jerk . Firstly I take few large gulp of air and then glare at the culprit who standing near my bed with jug in her hand and a sheepish smile.

"Happy birthday best friend" screaming on top of her lungs she jump on me encircling her arms around my shoulder engulf me, no choke me completely. Well Lilly is the most clingy, choatic and bundle of fun. You do not need phone or something when Lilly is there she is complete fun.

"Thanks ,but this is not the way you wake someone on their birthday".

"Well I don't want to but you are not waking up and seeing your sweaty head I got hint that you are seeing that dream again so I thought to save you ", she explain herself.

"So tell me, I save you this time?" She asked, no said while flipping her hair.

"No".

'You come Too late' I replied pressurising on too. Well Lilly know about my weird dreams and from the day I tell her she is obsessed with saving me. It's like some drama for her where you wait for another episode to know what's gonna happen. She did the same.

'Well my bad, but in real life I always save you'.

'Cause I always stuck in a problem because of you'.

'Oh my holy heart, today's kid didn't have little bit respect for the older ones' she fake it by placing palm on her heart.

"First you are just 45 days older than me and second in no chance your heart can be holy. Should I have to remind you, where you are last night".

Narrowing her eyes she give me ' shut the fuck up ' look.

'He is a jerk', she said slumping her shoulder down.

'I know my sixth sense is better than yours', this time I flip my hair on her face and she growl on me .

'Okay now tell me did you see his face' , she asked fluttering her eyes in curiosity.

"Whose face?"

"Bitch your dream boy".

'Ooh'.

'No', I growl on her face.

"If you didn't spill this water I definitely see his face this time but you, I said pointing towards my wet t-shirt".

Well from my childhood I see weird dreams on my birthday. Everytime darkness come in any form surround me and then this boy come , take me out of it. But the weird thing is I never see his face. I might sound like crazy but it's obvious to get curious about the thing you see everytime on fix days and person. Initially i didn't tell abut this to anyone thinking that they might think of me stupid but when I tell Lilly , she started fascinating about it. Sometimes she wake me up and sit down with a diary to note down details . She is crazy. 

"Oops"! Then next year I didn't wake you up for whole day , she said crossing her arms over her chest with a pout.

'You said same last year', I shrug .

Her pout become big as she stare at me with her Bambi eyes.

'Aww , my baby got sad', I cooed her while engulfing her in another big bear hug. ' You are the best bestie who always trynna save me even though we both end up in big trouble after that but still it can't change the fact that you care for me a lot' , I said to enlighten her mood. Her moodswing are worst.

"Is this a compliment"? She asked raising her eyebrow.

"Taking it the way you want", I said flashing a big smile.

'Whatever', she said moving her palm left right. 

"Get up fast , change and then we go outside we can't waste any seconds , we have to do lot of fun today as it is last day of our weekends too, she exclaimed while pulling my hand to get me up.

"Yes Party time ", we both shout before going towards my wardrobe.

"This is not good too" I told with a pout for nth time. This happen with me everytime I go outside I didn't find anything proper to wear.

'Okay, let's go shopping first' Lilly suggested which is the only option left now.

Finally after 12 hours we enter in our room and I slumped on bed .Its heaven after standing whole day. After doing shopping we directly go to a caffe then movie then PlayStation and then after having our dinner we land in our room. 

"Now what we are going to do"lilly asked tapping her finger on her chin she thought for a sec  "hey , what about pajama party. I'm calling Mia right now" she beamed while sitting on bed. Don't tell me this girl still have energy , I glare at her.

"What"? She asked.

'Battery low' I muttered before closing my eyes.

"No, you can't. It's  just 10 we are not going to sleep this early", she said shaking me and I seriously felt all food I eat while ago blending in my stomach. Shit ! I eat too much.

"Okay not yours not mine let's just do N*****x and chill', I suggest as I know she got indulge too much in dramas that she forget about me and I can sleep peacefully.

She thought for a sec before her brows furrowed and I got hint that she got to know about my plan.

"We already did PJ party on your birthday, it's not fun of repeating the same and also we have class tomorrow", I suggest fastly before she change her mind.

"Okay that's a good idea. I have to listen to you today after all it's your day", she said before stretching her hand to take laptop. Well my girl whole day you did whatever you want to do on the name of my day and now you are saying this. I want to say this loud but choose otherwise as I know the circumstances.

We started "Only murders in the building", I love thriller shows and same goes to her. I take out snacks from bag and turn all the lights off.

There is very suspence scence is going on as we are trying to figure out possibilities of killer, when the doorbell ring making both of us jump on spot.

We both stare at each other then at door.

"You go" we both said in unison.

"Last time I open door now it's your turn" Lilly said pointing her finger towards me.

"Today is my birthday dear . Did I need to say something else too", I said raising my brow , straightening my back ,sitting like queen.

"Fine , I will take it back", she said moving towards door while I laugh in a mocking manner. Advantages of bd's.

Opening door she go outside, talk with someone for few minutes before coming in with a sour face.

"What happens?"

'This lady Hitler got to know we put firecrackers in her room".

"Wait what"? my eyes widen as i get up with jerk. Our hostel management staff is too strict but this women is the worst. She always trynna rule on us. So we did this prank on her.

"If she knew then why we are still here. I didn't get any complain from Dean", I said doubting.

"Because she didn't have any proof so she just warn us". She said sitting on bed .

"And here this is for you", she pass me a bag.

"She gave it"? I ask stunned.

"You think. Your mom send this. Atleast read the address first", she point at bag.

I take the bag in surprise from her. I'm too happy that mom remember this day. Being a single mother and handling a company is not an easy task. She used to work all day and came midnight. Sometimes she is not there on my birthday too. Initially  i used to go angry and fight with her for not giving me full attention  but now as I grow up I see how much she work and how much difficult to handle everything single handedly. So now i didn't behave like a brat and and stay happy in the little moments we spent together.

'Open it fast' she said taking me out of my thoughts.

"Yep". I open it , there is a small jewellery box in which a beautiful pendant is present. A crescent shape made up of diamond in which a circle of sapphire.

"It's so beautiful", I said touching it. 

"And expensive" Lilly said taking it from my hand and admiring the beautiful design. 

"Well I have to say this  I'm getting jealous of you now. Your mom is too considerate. And my mom she send me sphgatti box means who give gifts like that", she said complaining.

"I think you forget we are eating that almost daily. They are savers so you can't blame her".

"Stop defending my mom. She have to give me something considering I'm grown ass women now".

"Are you sure? Last time I remember you whine like a baby lying on floor for a dress", I said pointing towards the dress she wear.

If I talk about her and her mom then they are too funny together and bicker in everything. I like them too much as I spend most of my days in their house.

Her mom is also single mother and our neighbour and most importantly Baker. She cook too much delicious food while my mom is complete disaster so I used to stay with them more. Wise choice. I know.

Finally after soughting out our thoughts about our mothers we again started watching the show. But there is  something , something weird I felt after seeing that pendent. I feel like I see it before too but where. This question keep bugging in my mind and I hate it when I can't remember things. 

Feeling uneasy I decide to sleep after asking her . Closing my eyes i drown myself in deep slumber.

Author's pov.

He is standing in balcony in all his glory. His dark black hair are quite messy falling on his forehead due to the slow breeze while his olive green eyes fixed on a particular figure, keenly noticing her each and every movement. Closing his eyes he turn around leaning his back against railing, his arms bulging out from his t-shirt ,and a devilish smirk plastered on his face.

"Celebrate your peace doll , from the day onwards you're gonna crave for it".

Saying that he enter in his dark room there is just a small lamp is on which also turn off when he take a step in the room making his smirk widened.

Meanwhile....

Era turns on bed again not able to sleep making Lilly sigh .

"What happen, why you are not sleeping?" she said seeing clock which shows it's past 2 am .

"Don't know I feel like something is going to happen, something not good not too bad. Huhh ! I can't even understand", she said rolling on other side in frustration.

"I know reason. From tomorrow our new session begin and you are being introvert scared of seeing new faces", she said wrapping her arms around her, snuggling in her back.

"Well I wish it just because of that......
