Brishor stared at him with eyes full of hatred. “Why would I abduct you when all I can do is lock you in this place forever?”
“You can't do this!” Lord Alex squeaked. “This is against the law. You think I won't be able to break the seal and escape? Once I am out of this place, I will inform the king about you. He is going to behead you!”
Brishor raised his eyebrow. “Interesting.” Not wanting to stay in this place even for a minute, he looked at Chezzal, who nodded and then exited. Alex scrambled to his feet and got up to follow Chezzal, but Brishor shoved him back. The slight push was like a heavy push to Alex. He hurled in the air and hit the wall. He screamed with pain, and tried to scramble back to his feet.
“I— I will leave. I won't co
There was a buzz of activity and excitement in the castle when they heard the news. Every servant out there was more than happy. They were overjoyed. It was as if they had come out of the clutches of Judith, who they feared a lot. It was as if they had finally reached the light that they had seen at the end of the tunnel.Brishor was amazed to see the kind of excitement that buzzed in the air amongst the otherwise gloominess of the castle. They all clapped and congratulated him and bowed to him. Some even thanked him from saving them from a terror called Judith. A short and thin woman even suggested, “You can throw her in the dungeons, please.” And at that Brishor had laughed. The head cook announced that she would be delighted to make a sumptuous dinner to celebrate the occasion. Five young boys and girls volunteered to light up every s
Judith screamed and even in that pain, she lunged at Patsy to remove her from her daughter, but Patsy was a minute faster than her. She launched a slap on her face with rage swelling in her chest. Judith was already shaky. Judith also tumbled to the ground, next to her daughter, looking with shock at the mere maid who was always so meek, who had all of a sudden shown her animosity.Patsy started panting. She peeled her lips from her teeth and sneered, “Don’t even think of it!” Saying that, she flicked the strand of her hair back with a jerk and walked away from there. When she walked past Brishor, she winked at him. She called the healer who was standing fixed to the ground. “Come on. What are you waiting for?”The healer was divided whether to heal the former ladies of the house or the new one. When Patsy prodded him,
Brishor and Chezzal were at the end of their wits. Their minds played tricks on them. For the whole night neither could sleep. After what the healer told them, Brishor wanted to capture Judith and Viola and throw them inside the dungeons and then kill them slowly and painfully. In his frustration, he had pounded a table in the corner which shattered into hundreds of pieces.Chezzal sat right next to her, holding her hand. Often, he thought he heard her soft murmurs. He would jump upright to check her, only to see that she was still deeply sedated. Her breath had become slow and her heartrate just as slow. He felt as if his chest had a gaping hole. He would keep checking her pulse in her wrist but it was almost dying. He had started hallucinating things now. He would think that she had turned her head, only to find that she was lying on her back with no movement.
When Brishor and Chezzal came out, wrapped with towels around their hips, Meryl couldn’t help but stare at the two of them. So, she stared. Without blinking her eyes. Damp, with steam rising from their bodies, and with those chiseled planes, they looked like gods of sex walking on two legs. Her lips parted as she softly exhaled and her thighs clenched. The two dragons looked at each other and gave a knowing smile. They walked to sit on either side of her. Chezzal took his hands to her cheeks and brushed her lower lip. “What are you thinking, love?” he asked in a husky voice.“N—nothing!” she stuttered, as blush rose to her cheeks.Chezzal couldn’t help but think how innocent she was. She couldn’t hide her feelings for them. They were written all over
Brishor snapped his head at Chezzal. The General narrowed his eyes as his face twisted with anger. “I will be right back!” he said and turned to get out of the bed, when Brishor stopped him.“Don’t act in haste!” Brishor growled.Meryl’s gaze darted from Brishor’s face to Chezzal’s. “What is it?” she asked, totally confused and disturbed by the noises. She wanted to go out and look at what was going on.After a moment of silence, Brishor said, “You go out with Chezzal downstairs and see what is happening, while I go and check the perimeter of the castle. Were you expecting guests? Or did your mother say anything about receiving more guests?”Meryl shook her head. “Not to
The previous night when Meryl was unconscious for a long time, Brishor felt helpless. While Chezzal sat near her all the time, Brishor thought that he would go mad, if she didn’t wake up. In order to vent out his frustration, he had gone out of the castle and ran in the wilds until he was out of breath, until he lay on the ground hoping for his life to end. He dragged himself through the pain back to the castle and on his way back, he heard Judith and Viola. They had taken shelter in one of the crevices in the castle wall. They were injured and yet they were cursing Meryl. Pissed as hell, he had dragged them inside the castle and then thrown them in the dungeons that had been closed for a long time. The women had shrieked and shouted in protest, but in front of a massive dragon like him and two soldiers who had chained them, they couldn’t do much. The dungeons had rusted iron doors and we
“Brishor…?” Valerie murmured with shock cruising through her as she stared at the king who was coming down the stairs. She blinked several times to clear her hallucination, but then there he was—looking menacing and dark as if he was about to erupt like a molten lava any time. And right beside him was Chezzal, his General, who was looking just as intimidating. They both came and stood behind Meryl as if they were her sentinels. At the same time, Alburn went completely still as his mouth fell open. After a moment of silence, he drew his head back sharply and in a disbelieving voice, said, “You!”Brishor narrowed his eyes as a snarl left his mouth. “Lord Alburn.”After a silence that stretched like miles in a desert, Alburn said, “It is good that
Numbness swept through his body. Alburn staggered back and Valerie held him tightly, looking for an anchor for her knees felt wobbly. Alburn thought he had the master plan and that he was going to gain not only the treasures of Windley, but also an abundant supply of Niambh. He had come to lay the ultimate trap that would have made him rich beyond imagination, but now…The two councilmen looked ferocious. They walked closer to where Meryl and Chezzal were standing.Brishor continued, “Judith had gone to meet you in a hurry, and that raised my suspicion. She had bought Niambh from you. These two councilmen out here,” he pointed at the two of them with his thumb over his shoulder, “Mazu and Hama are witnesses to it. They saw Judith coming out of Valerie’s house with Niambh.”
“What is it?” Brishor said, his face drained of color. He looked at Chezzal who was looking as ghastly as the past several hours. He had to give it to Chezzal that he had more strength than him in such situations. “Oh! Another head is forming!” The healer informed her. “Push, Meryl!” Meryl pushed again with whatever energy she was left with. “We got another boy!” The healer announced. Cendyt rushed back and was now going crazy! “I got two grandsons!” she cried out of pleasure. Brishor came to stand right beside Meryl on her right. “My queen,” he whispered as he held her hand and squeezed it softly. “You’ve made us so proud.” A teardrop fell on Meryl’s hand.
Meryl had had a long chat with Cendyt about heats. Cendyt had told her the implications of it. She had said that it had been hundreds of years since Galdere has seen the face of a royal child. The reason why she was interested in marrying and putting up with Tere’s bullshit was that she wanted a baby, an heir for Galdere. Tere was ready to marry Angus, but Brishor wanted to find his third mate. In case Brishor never married or never found his mate, Angus’s child would have been the heir to the throne.Cendyt had made it amply clear to Meryl that she wanted grandchildren and wanted them fast. She also said that female dragons came in heat once a year, but she didn’t know what was the case with her, because she was turned. Meryl thought it was better to watch and wait. Maybe, she was going to exhibit the same traits as any other dragon female.
Chezzal thought that he had got inside her too fast. What about her pleasure? He thrust inside her lazily and kissed her lips. He nibbled at her bottom lip and whispered, “I want to go down and lick you.”His dirty words aroused her as hell. She bucked her hips into his to show what she wanted. He chuckled. “You are wicked.”He pulled out and started kissing her. He left a trail of kissed all the way from her lips to the hollow of her neck, her breasts, belly and then to her sex. Once there, he licked off her juices with his tongue until she started groaning needily.“Ah! I can't take it anymore,” she hissed. Brishor turned his face over her chest and began suckling them lazily.Chezzal lifted his head up to see
Brishor set Meryl on her feet. There was so much brightness around her that it blinded her for a moment. When she opened her eyes again, she found herself surrounded by huge mountains and snow all around interrupted by tall firs and pines. The snow was fresh and glistening on the mountain slopes as the sun shone brilliantly over them.“Where are we?” she asked, when Brishor took her hand and tugged her to a log cabin that stood on a ledge of a slope, surrounded by a thicket of pines, just a few meters away. The cabin looked… dark and lonely. It was as if there was no one around it. With snow crunching under their boots, and her sandals, they stepped ahead. But seeing that her sandals had become immediately wet, Brishor picked her up. Cold wind blew and fluttered her veil. She wondered how cold this place would be at night. Chezzal came from behind and lifted her veil.
Meryl climbed the dais, her gaze locked with his through the veil. Brishor couldn’t wait to touch her, so he took her hand and helped her climb the steps of the dais. When she came to stand beside him, Brishor couldn’t help thinking that he was the luckiest man in the Lore. His gaze was fixed on her as her maids helped her with the train of her dress. When she was settled, Brishor took her hand to his lips and kissed it as he stared through her veil into her eyes. He just couldn’t help it. “You look beautiful,” he breathed. Meryl’s face heated up and her heartbeat accelerated. Brishor would have continued to look at his mate had the priest not coughed up. “Your Highness, should we start with the ceremony?” Meryl chuckled and Brishor had to leave her hand. They turned to look at the audience and the priest began to chant ancient liturgy. As soon as
Brishor was nervous like a boy who was going to get his first kiss from his girlfriend, or from any girl for that matter. His mother had taken Meryl from their room saying that she needed to be dressed properly because the girl was about to become the queen of Galdere. That’s why Brishor was left alone with Chezzal and Ludwig.Ludwig was making a huge commotion. He blamed Brishor for delaying and because of him, he wasn’t able to meet Penny. It had been close to two hours and the men in the room had become edgy. The servants were supposed to be happy because their king was getting married, instead they were scared when the three mighty men may burst with anger.“You are looking gorgeous!” Ludwig grated. “I am sure you look better than Meryl even. Now will you just walk out of here and get married?”
After what she did to Meryl, Tere wasn’t allowed anywhere near the royalty. Angus was taken out of the prison and when she came to know she had rushed to meet him, but Tere wasn’t allowed to enter the palace by the guards. Even her father’s influence couldn’t get her there. Later, she came to know that Dirk was informed that his daughter was banned from entering or meeting Angus or for that matter any other royalty.Tere was shocked. Her bitterness rose to the next level against Meryl and now she needed solid revenge. That is why when Dirk was invited to the ball, she made a plan in which she was going to use the same tactic she used last time. Her father would put her down, make her feel low and then Meryl would come out, feeling like a doormat.Dirk had somehow smuggled his daughter in the palace’s grounds the previous nigh
Meryl lips curled up. “I am yours…” she breathed.Brishor pulled her up and crashed his lips over hers in a chaste, yet passionate kiss. “I love you,” he whispered in her ear and twirled her once again. She squealed merrily as he brought her to a stop in his arms.A few moments later, other couples joined them on the dance floor and a mood of merriment was set.Brishor gave her to Chezzal after the first dance and then went to talk to his mother and other guests who had surrounded her. Since the wedding was in two days and since Galdere kingdom was witnessing a royal wedding after a long time, his mother was of the opinion that not only the netizens of Galdere should be invited, but kings and queens of other kingdoms too should be invited. And Brishor really didn’t wa
71Meryl lay between her mates, post coital. If having sex like a human was thrilling, having sex like an immortal was like a bomb blast. She was heaving, sweat slicked and glowing. She was exhausted and wanted to sleep. As for the dragons, they wanted more. “You both can now go to hell,” she chuckled.“Then you are coming to hell with us,” Brishor said as he nipped her earlobe.“No, I am going to stay right here,” Meryl laughed.Chezzal coiled his arms around her and pulled her close to his chest. He tucked her head beneath his chin and closed his eyes. “She is tired, Brishor. Give her some time to be ready for us.”“Yes, I will be ready in another two day
