Red dragon

In the ancient grandfather clock, Brandon looked at the time and frowned. 

"It's already 11 o clock. He should be here by now. Where is he?" he thought thinking about his brother Blaze.

He is currently monitoring the CCTV footage of the day that was captured on different cameras. Usually, his brother would be here by 10.30. But today he is half an hour late. 

'He must be busy with something else he thought.

The entire palace is so quiet and still. Everyone retired to their respective chambers by now, as it is late. But like his brother Blaze, Brandon doesn't have to sleep for so long. A few hours is enough for both of them. 

Even with his heightened senses, he couldn't hear a single sound from inside the palace. He can hear the occasional shuffling of the guards and that is it.

But after five minutes, his ears perked up when he caught the silent footsteps of a dozen people moving closer to him.
