Caught

In a village where Bella's parents are being held hostage, Stephen is on the edge and he is irrationally angry and is destroying everything that his hands could get on. The common hall and the dining area are a mess of broken vases, bowls, glasses, and plates. He is starving both Scott and Elvina. He is giving them only one meal per day. He is taking out his anger and frustration on both of them. 

Elite guards from the palace came to search every house in that village. And they came to search Scott's house as well. But Stephen threatened to kill Elvina if he didn't lie and send them away. Scott did just that, but he moved his lips to say Stephen's name, without making any sound.

The elite guard frowned when Scott moved his lips but nothing came out of his mouth. He didn't think much about it and left quickly. Scott sagged with regret. Losing his one chance to get away from Stephen is slipped away from his hands. So he is losing hope.
