“Please let me explain.” Asrar pleaded with Avalon as she opened her door. It was morning on the next day and he needed to talk with her. He tried last night but she went to bed the moment she got back. He was tired for worry had set in and he didn’t get a wink of sleep. He trusted his assistant but this was a huge secret.
“Come in.” She sighed as she stepped towards the door and pointed him in. Asrar hurried in and nervously sat on the couch. Avalon had been brewing coffee at the time so she poured him one to.
“I didn’t know what else to do.” He spoke a little panicked.
“Well you did the right thing.”
“I wanted….wait what.” Asrar looked over at her as she placed his coffee down on the table. A smiled gently etched her lips as she found her way to the couch.
“Chris didn’t suspect a thing and we actually met a really wonderful man. Will be able to keep and extra eye on Rosalie for us.” Avalon spoke gently as she sipped her coffee. “Now what is the plan w
Rosalie came to and started to panic. She was tied up to a chair in a very cold damp dark place. Her panic evident as she began to try and pull on her restraints. The chair she was on was wooden and old as it squeaked from the movement. She didn’t like this, this was something her ex would have done. Amelia, whom was off to the side, smiled happily as she watched this girl squirm. There was so much more in store for this women who touched her man. She will be lucky to walk out of here. Amelia decided to make herself known causing more fear to set in as Rosalie stilled.“What’s wrong, not so tough all alone are we.” Amelia cheekily spoke. Rosalie was just trying to calm her breathing, to push the fear and anxiety down. None of it was working however which made her panic more.“Please, I have done nothing wrong.” Rosalie cried quietly. Amelia stepped up to her and laid a smack against her cheek. The contact sending tingles down her back as her dragon power spiked ever so s
Rosalie soon came to, finding herself once again tied up on a chair. Her body hurt and was freezing. She felt the sweat on her forehead in small beads and her upper body was covered up, her lower half naked as she felt the wood from the chair. The smell coming off of the shirt meant it was probably bought at some thrift store. She tried to move but just couldn’t bring herself to. Her head was forced up by a skinny hand. A smirk etched her face as Rosalie's eyes rolled back. Amelia let her head fall back on her chest as she left. She made sure to shut the door so she didn’t get the bright idea of leaving. Amelia didn’t think she would as she did a good number on her last night.“Give her another few minutes and she is all yours.” Amelia spat at the boy in front of her. “I’m sure Asrar is on his way here. The bitch was able to notify him last night.”“How is this going to work?” The boy spat. “I want my time with her.”“Just make her scream and I’ll do the rest. He i
Both Rosalie and Chris where raced in to operation rooms. Asrar was pacing out in the waiting room as Avalon did what she could to comfort Rosco who was just loosing it. Both the people he cared so much for where in the hospital and not a single nurse could tell them how things are going. Asrar wanted to rip through the door to his Angel. They had been in there for hours and not once did anyone come out. The white walls and grey seats doing nothing to help ease them. The last time he was in the hospital was when his grandmother was sick. It was much the same but with less machines as they couldn’t bring in anything from the outside world or they would have been caught. For Rosco it was when they tried to save his sister from injuries. Avalon just never liked white, it was to clean and perfect for her. Unfortunately everything was white. The only color where the multiple different scrubs the nurses and doctor wore and the occasional dark blue/black seat covers of the wheel chairs.
Minutes turned to hour, hours to days, days to week, weeks to months. In all of this Asrar was going crazy. Rosalie finally did let him go but that only fueled his fear. He was with her every waking minute praying her emerald eyes would stare into his. He stepped away for the washroom and that was it. Peggy made sure he had a key for the showers to which he use midnight. Avalon had to leave a few times but would come back with clean clothing every few days. She took care of things that Asrar couldn’t. Chris healed and with light work was able to leave though his days consist of going home to sleep next to Rosco or being at the hospital with Rosalie. He couldn’t leave his cousins side for long.“When is she going to wake.” Asrar growled harshly as Peggy looked Rosalie over. She sighed looking at him to which he put up his hands in surrender. Chris just chuckled where he was relaxing on a spare chair. They had been on edge for the last 6 months. She hadnt stirred nor has she sho
“Rosalie.” Chris called from down the hall. Asrar had caught up with Peggy who had a pair of shorts for him. She helped him get into them as he couldn’t let his Angel go for she had fallen asleep in his arms. Asrar was embarrassed which he felt was weird seeing as so many women have seen him naked. Avalon said it’s because the one meant for his heart was in his arms. He had to agree as he watched how happy Ryan and her where. It was amazing how love works sometimes. He watched how she took her last break up, throwing herself into work. He felt bad for her but in a way he was glad she did. Her she was, happier then a child in a toy store. He smiled knowing that was how he felt about his Angel.“Shhhh, she’s sleeping and so are many other patients I’m sure.” Peggy snapped at him. He motioned for him to come and grab Ryan. Chris nodded as he did as she said and they all walked into a new room. The windows where open and bright making Asrar smile. Rosalie looked so much more beaut
Chapter 19Rosalie didn’t sleep through the night. She had a couple minor nightmares that woke Asrar. He was concerned but said nothing as he let her cry. He really didn’t know what to do other then let her cry and hold her while she did. She soon had the courage to tell him of her dreams to which he offered support saying none of it would happen. She wasn’t to sure but he proceeded to tell her how his mom always told him ‘If you tell someone of your dream, wither good or bad, it wont come true.’ Rosalie smiled at this which allowed her to fall back asleep until another would hit. Asrar was patience through them all and would wait till she was ready to tell him. He would then offer support once again. He smiled happily once she was able to fall asleep and stay asleep. They both woke groggy due to the lack of sleep they got last night. Rosalie felt bad as she clung to Asrar. He chuckled and only managed to pry himself away from her to use the washr
Asrar was nervous, something felt wrong but he couldn’t pin what it was. He tried to call Avalon but he had forgotten to put his phone on charge last night. It had enough juice to wake him this morning but that was it. He decided it was nothing knowing Avalon was there with her. He got up and quickly changed into a pare of sweatpants and a t-shirt. He wasn’t to sure what else to wear. It had been a while since he was in a kitchen. Last time he was it was an outfit given to him. He called a cab once dressed and grabbed a quick breakfast consisting of toast and a herb and garlic cashew spread. He swore one of the best things invented. The black cab was waiting for him to emerge and his smile dropped. There was the poor cab driver he scared the last time. Asrar saw him shuttering which made him feel bad. He walked up to him and offered his hand. The cab driver took it fearing he might hit him or something.“I’m sorry for my outburst on our last trip. It was reckless of me a
“Grandma will you please talk to me.” Brent pleaded as he drove. Mama Chika made it very clear they where heading home. He was nervous, she had never been this quiet before and it was really unsettling. Mama Chika was furious, she couldn’t believe what he had done specially to the poor girl. To boot she knew her lineage will fall for what he did. She couldn’t believe she didn’t see it before, though it had been many years since she saw one but today. Today for the first time she was scared. The small little cottage they lived in on the outskirts of town looked warm and welcoming. The dense forest behind it looked alive with wild creatures happily playing. The small smoke cloud coming from the chimney meant Brent’s mom was cooking supper. The paved driveway was clear of cars signaling no one but his mom was home. Mama Chika knew she would have to tell her sons about what happened but she was glad it wasn’t going to be right away. In reality she could get her daughter in l

Asrar ripped into the mobile home and ran to there bedroom. He flopped on her side of the bed praying there was enough of her there to calm him. He was ready to rip the town apart. The moment the words escaped Brandon’s mouth he knew they where here. All his planning to try and keep her safe going out the window. They got here before he could do anything. His heart felt like it was being ripped in two as his dragon side wanted blood. He wanted everyone to die because his angel was taken from him.The anger soon turned to tears as he cried into her pillow. His pain tearing him apart as he cried for his Angel. He didn’t know what to do, he felt so lost. He had no idea where they where and no scent to go on. He couldn’t find them. Avalon placed a hand on his back causing him to sit up quickly. She looked at him, tears in her own eyes. He knew she felt this was her fault. He cleared his tears as he held her close rubbing her back as she death gripped him.“This is all my fau
“Can I help?” Rosalie asked as she reached for some of the bags in the car. She was wide awake due to her nap and her supper had settled really well. Asrar was trying to unload the car as Ryan helped Avalon into the house. She was tired and cranky.“Absolutely love.” Asrar smiled leaning over and kissing her cheek. She grabbed a few and followed him in before coming back for more. They just put the bags on the living room floor so they could sort everything out.“Asrar.” Rosalie spoke up again this time a little worried. Asrar stopped in his tracks and looked at her. She had grabbed the last of the bags from the trunk and shut it. She walked over to him and stopped. “I know something dangerous is coming for me but I was wondering if we could take a walk?”“Oh Rosalie.” Asrar gently sighed in relief. He though that question was going a different way. He nodded happily as they placed the last of the bags in the living room. Asrar let Ryan know they would be back befo
Rosalie gripped Asrar’s hand lightly as she pressed her body into his side. She had never been to a huge mall like this before. Yes she went to a mall but this was huge. There where like two stories and so full of people. Took them a few hours to drive to it, not that she was complaining because she got to snuggle to him the whole way. This mall had the best wedding store in it according to Ryan whom had been doing plenty of searching.“I’m so excited.” Ryan squealed happily causing Avalon to laugh. Rosalie smiled as Asrar rolled his eyes.“Come on hun.” Avalon spoke grabbing Rosalie’s arm and leading her away from Asrar. She really didn’t want to leave him as her fear slowly started to rise. She gripped Avalon’s arm as they went to a lady who appeared to be waiting for them.“You must be our bride.” She spoke cheery. Avalon nodded as Rosalie let her go. She tried to stop the shaking but it wasn’t helping. Asrar wrapped his arms around her calming her instantly.
Her body gently lay over his neck as he flew back to there home. He was worried she was going to fall asleep and fall off, as her worry was his spike was going to pierce through her stomach. She had to lay over it to lay down. With a sigh she lifted her body back up causing him to sigh. He was concerned they pushed her to much. Avalon was out cradled in Ryan’s claws as he flew close by. Asrar wished he had done that with Rosalie but she said she would be fine.Rosalie looked up at the stars and smiled. She couldn’t imaging how much better her life could get from here. She had the best man in the world loving her, the best of friends who where always at her side to keep her safe and family to which she had forgotten but he never forgot her. Then there where so many other people she had met because of those wonderful people. There was a small part of her afraid this was all going to come to an end. That this good luck was running out.Asrar growled when he felt her uneasin
“Asrar.” Rosalie giggled happily as he folded his wings and plummeted to the ground. At the last second he would open them and shoot strait up before doing loop de loo. Rosalie loved this as she held on tight. Her giggles filling his ears as he would do it out of the blue. Ryan would just chuckle as Avalon would stiffen. She was worried though she knew she didn’t have to be. Asrar would never let anything happen to her.Ryan gently nudged Avalon’s foot before he motioned his head towards the pair. Avalon looked over and instantly shook her head. Maybe if she didn’t have a baby in her womb starting to grow she would try it. Ryan was so happy when he realized what happened, she knew it would just kill him if anything happened to the two. She could never take that joy from him, so she decided she will be very careful. Ryan looked up at her and knew, due to the new thing growing in her she didn’t want to. He was proud to have her as a mate and even prouder she was thinking of the
Chapter 25“Asrar.” Rosalie spoke gently as she sat up in bed. It had been a week of nothing had happened since the last attack. Asrar had them moved to her trailer a day ago. Rosalie was supper happy as she made room for him in the closet. Avalon was staying with Ryan but they would shift here soon. He just had to give his notice. Chris and Rosco had shifted back to there apartment. Said it was better this way, being as Ryan could shift. He was more effective against a dragon. Rosalie wanted them all close but the trailer was only so big. Asrar already had his head turning as to what could be done. He figured there was enough space for a third bedroom off the back of the mobile. He knew Chris could come up with the plans and if need be he would as Brandon’s brothers to build it. He was going to surprise Rosalie with the idea once he has talked to Chris and Rosco.“In the bathroom love.” Asrar spoke as he combed his hair. He had just gotten out of
