Chapter 40: Rescue Mission

Bowen sighed as he led the way into the abandoned Metal Mining area. He didn't expect a return to Metal Mining this soon. To be honest, Bowen didn't want to have anything to do with Leonard anymore. However, he could not let Edmund go without a reliable navigator. Metal Mining's passageways were quite winding and dangerous. If someone went inside without adequate understanding, that person could get lost or get trapped in the mine without coming out alive.

Most of the way, they walked, groping the stone walls in the darkness. The road was meandering and up and down, making it hard to remember.
