Chapter 22: The Nightmares

From within the ground appeared many giant black shadows that were four meters tall with huge and terrifying faces. On the head, there was only a gaping mouth with irregular pointy fangs. Their tongues were pink and long protruding while floundering and dripping poisonous saliva in various places. The Nightmares' hands were long, pointed claws and could extend at will. Their mouths rattled and moved at high speed.

GRAAAAAAAAWRRRRRRR!!!!

"What the hell is that?" Draco asked with his mouth open. Again, he was faced with the dark monster. It seemed that every time they managed to summon the dragon spirit that was lost from the human magic artifact, there would always appear dark monsters that had kept the dragon spirit locked up all this time.

“It's them, The Nightmares. They imprisoned the spirits of my friends together with the Green Dragons. I'm terrified of them,” said Astrid, trembling. Tears fell down her cheeks.
