The odds of him impregnating her were extremely high. What was he to do now? It was too soon for her to have his baby. Far too soon even if she knew the truth about him; which, of course, she didn’t. There were procedures to follow; Manthellan customs to uphold.
He cursed himself for allowing things to get out of hand. He’d only intended on a little foreplay for their mutual satisfaction. Entering her wasn’t in the plan. He’d allowed himself to get lost in lust and love. Now, he had to face the consequences.

Lizzy had to search down several corridors before she found the room with the remaining soldiers locked up in a glass cage similar to the one Tristan and the other soldiers were in. She rushed up to the intercom and explained who she was and what was happening.
