Tyrone leaned down, pressing a searing kiss to Heather's lips, the scent of alcohol lingering on his breath.

Heather turned away to avoid his lips, her soft voice turning cold. "Let go of me!"

"Shall we head home or back to the office?" He didn't catch the change in her tone, mistaking her reaction for shyness. He nuzzled his forehead against her neck affectionately.

He wanted her, and while no one would dare interrupt them here, Heather had no intention of letting things go further here. He'd have to wait until they were back.

"I said, let go of me!" Her voice was cold, each word clipped and firm.

Only then did Tyrone sense something was wrong.

He looked at Heather, who was beneath him, and noticed her stoic expression. He pinched her cheeks. "Are you mad?"

Heather shoved him hard.

Unguarded, Tyrone was pushed back and his tall body landed on the floor with a thud. He lay sprawled on the floor, a sharp pain shooting through his shoulder from crashing into the coffee
