Her soft, drowsy voice brought the morning to life.

Heather nuzzled her small face into the pillow, not fully awake, and drifted back into a deep sleep.

Tyrone couldn't help but chuckle at her sleepy face.

This ungrateful woman had him feeling all sorts of emotions, yet she showed no responsibility for putting out the fire she sparked!

Just as he was about to wake her up, his phone suddenly rang.

He looked at the caller ID, frowned impatiently, and then looked back at Heather before getting up and walking toward the door.

"What is it?"

After he was out of the bedroom, Tyrone answered the call. His expression was cold as he made his way downstairs.

"Tyrone, my dad and the others are asking where you are. You need to come over quickly. We have relatives visiting today."

It seemed Janine was in the bathroom. Her voice was low as she spoke in a hushed tone.

Tyrone's voice was icy, devoid of warmth. "I'm staying home with Heather today. I don't have time to go to the hospital."
