However, as soon as Caleb said those words, Tyrone became even more pensive.

Heather was doing it for his own good?

When Caleb saw Tyrone's brooding face, he regretted what he'd just said. Had he said something wrong?

"Did she call me? No!" Tyrone's expression suddenly turned a terrifying one. He forced the words out coldly through gritted teeth.

He stared furiously at the phone screen, which showed no notifications.

Tyrone had a gut feeling that if he didn't reach out to Heather, that woman would never contact him!

The veins in his tightly clenched hand bulged, as if he wanted to crush the phone. There was suffocating air in the car.
