It was late at night when Heather and Ivy arrived at the emergency department of the hospital.

According to the doctor, Macey had tried to cut her wrist at home. Fortunately, some debt collectors came knocking and found her. Then, they sent her to the hospital.

In the ward, Macey's eyes were tightly closed as she lay on the sick bed. She was getting an IV drip. Her face was pale, and her hair seemed to have withered. She looked even weaker than she had last time.

"Mrs. Snyder. Mrs. Snyder?" Heather stood by the bed and called out softly.

A moment later, Macey slowly opened her eyes. She had a dazed look in her eyes. When she saw Heather, she froze for a moment. Then, she coldly turned around and said, "What are you doing here? Get out!"

Heather was stunned. She glanced at the bandages wrapped around Macey's wrist. "Mrs. Snyder, why did you do this? Ms. Snyder is still in prison. If she hears that you harmed yourself, she'll be so sad."
