Heather rubbed her temples with her fingers and said, "I'm not the one who's involved with him. The Snyders owed him money, and he came to collect the debt. I simply ran into him."

Caleb reassured her, saying, "Don't worry; he won't dare come back again."

Heather asked, "Why did Tyrone ask you to pick me up?"

"Ms. Sutton, Mr. Elkin has arranged a swimming lesson for you, and I'm here to take you there," Caleb replied.

Heather had forgotten about the swimming lessons long ago. She didn't say more and followed Caleb to the aquatic center.
