Craig must have witnessed everything unfold.

Out of the corner of her eye, Heather spotted Tyrone pulling out his phone to call Caleb.

Her gaze immediately sharpened. "What are you doing?"

"Perhaps you should head back first," Tyrone suggested calmly, his expression stoic as he squeezed her cheek.

The tension in Tyrone's tightly clenched jaw betrayed his simmering anger.

Considering his reputation, he simply couldn't tolerate the shame of being drenched in water.

Sensing Tyrone's intentions, Heather reached out and gently grasped his hand. "Forget it. Maybe the driver didn't see us. Let's just go back."
