His demeanor had softened to a gentleness she was glad to see.

"I'm ready to lead us to that beautiful place." He said. "Don't be afraid, okay?"

She nodded.

He held himself up on one hand while using the other to guide himself closer to her entrance, attempting to find the perfect angle for penetration. He felt her tense up as he pressed the tip against her, and looked down into her eyes as she stared right back at him curiously yet stiffly, as though she was expecting only pain. "Try your best to relax, Sweetheart, I am not about to kill you. Take a deep breath for me, okay, baby? Let go of that tension."

Boma nodded, exhaling shakily as she relaxed her muscles. Donovan put just enough pressure against her that he began to slowly sink into her warm, tight channel. "Spread your legs further for me baby." He said and as she obeyed, he got the first inch or thereabout inside.

She gritted her teeth together as she began to feel some discomfort coming from his entry spot.

"Where will I live in school now?" Boma asked. Donovan was amused at her question. She wanted to know where she would be residing since they were now married to each other as students. He had not given it much thought but now that she was mentioning it, the obvious answer was right before him."You should know where you will live." He responded."Where?" Boma still wanted confirmation."At your husband's apartment, of course. Where else?"Boma was not too keen on that. "What of the apartment you rented for me? I've barely lived in there.""You want to stay there?"She opened her mouth, ready to respond but winced with discomfort instead. Donovan knew the reason. His beloved new wife was now feeling the aftermath of her deflowering. Her palm landed protectively over her mound. Her eyes looked into his."I feel some ache and- maybe soreness.""That's normal. You just had sex for the first time so you're bound to feel some aftermath of discomfort. Sorry, dear, it will pass. Let's freshen

Boma's gaze met the imposing figure before her, a man whose scrutinizing eyes seemed to delve into the depths of her soul. The room hung heavy with tension as he demanded an explanation."What is he talking about?" His voice thundered, filling the room with an intensity that demanded attention.Summoning courage, Boma spoke, her words laced with a mixture of trepidation and determination. "I'm a student. Pregnancy will have a significant impact on my studies, so we decided-""We?" His interruption was explosive, his accusatory gaze now fixated on Donovan, who was now being a silent pillar of support."We are students," Donovan asserted, his voice carrying a firm resolve. "Pregnancy would undoubtedly distract us during this crucial time."Ronald's eyes narrowed as he scrutinized them both, an unsettling storm brewing within him. "What then is the point of a marriage? You both should have just waited until after your graduation." He rose in anger. "I need to see you privately at the

The following day, Boma returned to school activities- studying and attending classes. She enjoyed the warm welcome from her three new friends. How time flew, she thought as they hugged her on sight at the classroom. These girls could not stand her before but now, all that was history. She liked that. After class the girls surrounded her, bombarding her with questions about her honeymoon. She was in no hurry to leave the class as Donovan told her they would be having lunch.Boma was not used to talking a lot and having many friends, but she was starting to like the attention which she never had before. She was beginning to get comfortable with her new found situation."It was great." She responded. That much was true, she thought as she met the eager looks on their faces."Wow, your bad boy husband was a lot of girls' crush you know." Queen mentioned.Boma already knew that. "I know." She admitted and recounted the encounter she had at the girls' restroom some time back. The girls laug

Following the information, Boma desperately sought a solution. The lunchtime rendezvous took place in the quaint restaurant. Donovan had chosen a discreet corner, perhaps to ensure privacy or maybe to shield their conversation from members of his fraternity. As Boma joined him at the table, the low hum of conversations and clinking cutlery surrounded them. Despite the seemingly casual setting, Donovan wasted no time reiterating his former declaration. "I hope you heard what I said before I left the car," he stated, his eyes searching hers as if for a daring reaction. He was fully prepared to counter such.Boma, acutely aware of the eyes of other diners, nodded solemnly. "But I hope we don't have to- to do anything" she said, her voice hushed to match the private nature of their conversation.Donovan leaned in, his words measured, "Get it into your head that I've reconsidered things. Grandpa Ronald made some compelling arguments, and I believe it's time for us to start a family."Bom

Boma left the confines of Donovan's house, boarded a shuttle to the estate's main gate and entered a cab leading towards the nearest pharmacy. She prayed that Donovan would return the following day so there would be no chance of trouble. The pharmacy bustled with muted activities, a symphony of hushed conversations and the occasional clatter of medicine bottles. Boma, acutely aware of the prying gazes around her, moved through the aisles with a delicate blend of urgency and discretion. She kept her head down, avoiding eye contact with fellow patrons or pharmacy staff. The last thing she needed was to cross paths with someone who might recognize her, someone potentially connected to Donovan.Wilberforce Island was small and students often knew each other or someone who knew someone. Everyone was connected in some way. And the connection ran deeper the longer you were in the school. She had a bit of luck because she was in year one.The air of anonymity the pharmacy provided became her

The room felt oppressive as Donovan's stern gaze bore into Boma. His voice, low and foreboding, sliced through the air like a blade, giving her no room to stall."I said start talking. Where are you coming from?" he questioned, the weight of his authority laced in every syllable.Boma, feeling the gravity of the moment, stammered, "I- I just went out for- " she thought of what to say but there was no forthcoming explanation. "I went to- I went to- to-" Her voice broke off as he rose and began to unbuckle his belt, impatience etched in every move."Maybe you think I'm playing here." He said as he pulled it off the loops and folded it in half while she took a step back from him, her chest hammering with fright."I asked you a simple question. Where were you? Where the hell are you coming from?""I- please, I went to- "He took a step forward and she took one back. He spoke as he continued approaching her while she kept backing away in fear, her eyes starting to mist up."Please I didn't

Boma didn't dwell on the depressing thought for long. She apologized to herself for contemplating suicide. She thought of the world and how wide it was. Everyone had one challenge or the other. She would have to deal with hers the best way possible. She didn't know how to spark that change but she decided to be hopeful it would come. And then perhaps she would get to live a more peaceful life. With those encouraging thoughts she stopped crying.Donovan returned in the late morning hours. He brought food as promised. His demeanor was stoic. She stayed wary of him. He seemed like a stranger to her. They shared the meal at the table in silence. Boma wanted to kill the unsettling air and searched for a topic to converse about, however briefly."I know it's still early but did you have your test yet?" She asked. He regarded her with scepticism. He seemed surprised that she would care about his activities after what happened between them the previous day."Yes.""How was it?""Fine. It's ni

Harry did a good job explaining the literature course she struggled with as well as some general social science courses she was forced to take as a year one student.Boma thanked him after the class and he graciously acknowledged her thanksgiving. Afterward she exited the motel, ready to attend the next one he would hold.Once she was home, Donovan called her to ask about her day. After their talk he inquired about any difficult course so he could get her a private tutor. Since she already had that covered and for free, she said she was fine. He said he missed her and ended the call. After class the next day, her three friends surrounded her and handed a list to her. They had been carrying out word of mouth survey of what students wanted and Boma was thrilled to receive it. She hugged the girls closely. She didn't have to be so affected by their gesture since it was because of Donovan, but she was. Their action touched her."We did it for you, not him." Queen said."Thank you so much."

It will pass, Sweetheart.” He planted a kiss on her cheek. She smiled, then frowned. “D, please rub my feet.”Donovan obliged her. But she pointed to her knee. “No, there.”He laughed and indulged her. “Hope you won’t be the death of me.”She glared at him. “Are you complaining?”He lifted his hands in mock surrender, shaking his head. “Me? Complain? How dare I complain about taking care of the Queen of my heart?”She started to smile then frowned. “My feet, D, please massage.”He didn’t oblige her this time. The Dark MeetingAmong the attendees were representatives from the minor cults on campus, including an all-female cult that had often operated in the background, carefully observing the landscape of power. Their leader, a sharp-eyed girl with an air of authority, stood to address the group. She recalled her altercation with the girl Donovan married. She had thought maybe Donovan would grow tired of her, but it was not happening. Also, she thought she had moved on, but the more she saw Donovan’s success, the angrier she got. She wanted his downfall over this and had orchestrated everything by getting all the rival cult groups together.“Look at him,” she sneered, her voice dripping with disdain. “Donovan thinks he’s some kind of hero, but we all know better. He’s just a fraternity member like the rest of us, and it’s time we remind him of his place.”As she turned off the video, the room fell silent. The atmosphere shifted, igniting the simmering animosity rising within the members. “W

He focused on the promises he made the school during his manifesto. One of his first initiatives upon resuming his role was addressing the issue of inadequate transportation on campus. The student body had long complained about the lack of school buses, leading to overcrowded rides and long waits. Donovan, refusing to let this linger any longer, called for a meeting with the university's management. Armed with facts, surveys, and the frustrations of his fellow students, he laid out his proposal: the school needed more buses, and the government had the resources to help. After hours of discussions, Donovan sent a formal proposal to the state government, making a strong case for why they needed to invest in the transportation system for the students. His tenacity paid off when his proposal was received positively, and a few weeks later, several new b

AFTER BOMA’S FULL RECOVERY The trauma from Boma’s ordeal with Harry was fading, thanks to Donovan’s gentle care and devotion. The school holiday was in full swing, and as promised, Donovan decided it was time for their honeymoon abroad. THE HONEYMOON Boma felt a mix of excitement and nerves as she sat beside Donovan on their flight. It was her first time flying, and though Donovan had wanted to book first class, she insisted on experiencing it in economy for her first time. Donovan agreed on the condition that their return flight would be first class. This way, she would experience both options. Boma accepted. Meeting each other halfway was becoming their norm, and Boma was beginning to enjoy the equality she had longed for. Donovan, always wanting to see her happy, indulged her wishes, adjusting to this new dynamic of negotiation in their relationship. Ken stood before a pacing Harry in the living room of the cabin. As a frat house it was simple, rustic with minimal furniture."Calm down, bro." Ken said, causing him to pause."That bastard is not taking me seriously." He shouted. "Does he think I'm joking?" "No. But it's just his way to assert his power. You are still the one in power. You have the leverage, so calm down."Hearing that, Harry sank down on a chair. Ken followed suit as Harry called Donovan who picked up after the second ring. This delay also infuriated Harry. Donovan should be desperate, calling him all the time. "I will kill your wife by tomorrow if you've not resigned by 12:00pm." He declared and ended the call.He sat back, satisfied that this time, it was he who had ended the call."Good one, bro." After what felt like an hour, the car finally slowed down, bumping along a rough road.Boma sensed they were far from the island, possibly near the city outskirts. God, where were they taking her?The car stopped, and her captors dragged her out. She heard nothing but forest sounds. Maybe they were at a cabin in the woods, she thought. Barely able to struggle, she was carried into a house. The creaking of boots on wood told her it was a wooden structure. A door lock clicked open, and she was carried inside. The air was stale, as if the place hadn't been aired out in ages. She heard a window opening, letting in some much-needed ventilation. Inwardly, she was grateful; she could have suffocated otherwise. Finally, they dropped her to the floor and removed her blindfold. She faced Harry. His gaze was cold, devoid of the compassion she once saw in him. He was a man consumed by envy and a thirst for power. She wanted to speak, to appeal to his better nature, but her lips were sealed.Fear

Donovan called Hilda, his fingers tapping impatiently against the phone as it rang."Hello, Hilda," he said as soon as she picked up. "I need to talk to you. It’s about Boma."Hilda's voice, already laced with worry, deepened. "What’s going on, Presido?""I’ve been trying to piece together where she might be. The security guard saw her leave with someone in a black car. Do you remember anything unusual about her recently?"Hilda paused, thinking hard. "The last time we saw her was at the faculty block, and she was alone but was later joined by Harry. They went to check his exam results together."Donovan’s grip tightened on the phone. He remembered encountering her that day as well. He had even seen Harry's car as he left. "Harry? Are you sure?""Yes," Hilda replied. "We didn't like it and didn't think much of it at the time, but now- it worries me.""Thanks, Hilda. I’ll do all I can to handle it from here," Donovan said, ending the call abruptly. His mind raced, fury bubbling to the s
