As the days goes by, the media attention on Amara and Arman slowly simmered down. Less and less reporters spend their time in front of their house which allow them to finally have their normal life. The federal agency advised them not to talk to any reporter about the Higgins case. They don't want to tip off the Higgins about the development of their case.

Darson spend most of his days with the two of them to help them, protect them, and take care of them. His family now hates the fact that he's connecting himself on the complicated life of Amara. They were not happy when the rumors started that he was a secret partner of Amara who only kept quiet because of the money that they could get from the senator.

"Do you see how bad that woman is for you? Why can't you just stay away from her?" Emily, one of her older sister said angrily.

"Why can't you understand that I won't do that? Huh! She didn't anything to you!" He talked back with the same intensity.
