Watching the local news, Amara saw the announcement of the 65th birthday of Judge Rodney Mullen. She took out her laptop and open the folder she created. Rodney Mullen is an alleged secretary rapist. According to rumors and some police reports, Judge Mullen raped at least four of her secretaries throughout his career.
But many people say that he had more victims, women who are afraid to come out. From what she gathered, Mullen's last victim was his secretary, who resigned two months ago. Amara smirked when she remembered that it was the same month his wife died due to a heart attack.
"You son of a b*tch." Amara uttered.
The party will be invite-only, and the only way she could crash the party is to get an invitation. A smile formed on Amara's lips. That won't be a problem for her.
"Hey, sweetheart! How are you? I missed you! You're going to Judge Mullen's birthday? I want to come with you. Really? Oh, I love you, sweetheart!"
Piece of cake, just like that, and she's got an invitation. Lawrence Halter is a married man with four daughters who are all known personalities in town. So she can't show up at the party with him. Which only makes her situation better.
Not wasting any precious time, Amara went out to buy a dress and some new accessories. Feeling ecstatic, Amara stroll to the town's most exquisite dress boutique. Her smile won't fade because of her recent accomplishments.
"Hi, Amara! It's nice to see you." said the owner of the boutique.
"Hey, Lisa. Do you have anything nice for me?"
"Evening party, sweety?" Amara nodded, and Lisa waved her hand so she would follow her.
"Oh, gosh! They are all beautiful." Amara's eyes widened when she saw those elegant dresses.
"Told you, Amara. But for me, this will suit you better." Lisa showed her a fitted cream-colored gown with thin straps, a low neckline, and a slit reaching the uppermost part of her leg.
Amara tried it out and loved the way the dress compliments her complexion. She almost looked naked because of the color of the dress. Her smile widened; Lisa's right, this is the perfect dress for her.
After paying for the dress, Amara went straight to her favorite jewelry store. She bought a set of pearl jewelry. Then she went to her favorite diner.
"Have you heard? Judge Rodney Mullen is having an invite-only birthday party."
"Invite-only, huh? Why? He's afraid that someone would assassinate him at his own birthday party?"
"Paranoia is what you get if you're a nymphomaniac like him. That rapist judge should have been in jail a long time ago."
"No one's batting an eye. What do you expect? He's a respectable judge. Ha! Respectable, my ass."
Amara smirked when she heard those ladies talking about Mullen. Almost the whole town knows about the Judge, but nothing has been done. Being a town judge really has its perks.
After buying a take-out, Amara went back to her house. She needs to prepare everything she needs for tonight.
----------------
7 pm.
After putting some finishing touches, Amara went downstairs and grab her keys. One last look in the mirror before Amara got out of the house and to her car. Time for justice to be served.
It only took Amara a fifteen-minute drive before she arrived at the Hatkinson's Gardens. Every powerful men and woman in the city were there. It's like an all-star powerhouse reunion.
"Good evening, ladies, gentlemen. Tonight is an unforgettable night. Because this night marks the 65th birthday of our honorable Judge Rodney Mullen."
Amara wanted to vomit. Honorable my ass, she thought. But she maintained her smile. She's a guest who wants to celebrate with the birthday celebrant. She can't be seen being sour.
The party officially began with a song performed by his eldest daughter. Then three other local singers performed. It was a beautiful celebration; Amara would have enjoyed it if not with Rodney Muller's smug face.
"Hello, dear. I didn't recognize you." Amara's smile widened when she heard Muller's voice behind her.
"I'm a plus one, Judge."
She can feel Muller's stare behind her. Just as she thought. Acting like a respectable woman of the society, Amara nodded to Muller and walk away. She slowly walked towards the chocolate fountain. Intentionally looking back and smiling playfully.
When she reached the chocolate fountain, she picked up a strawberry and dipped it in the chocolate. She can see Rodney Muller watching her every move. Which is why she kept on moving sexily but not too noticeably.
After ensuring that the honorable Judge Rodney Muller has fallen to her beauty, Amara made sure Muller saw her left by the back entrance. The back entrance is connected to the park, which is already closed. That is why the whole surrounding is already dark and quiet.
Amara can clearly hear Muller's footsteps following her. Pretending to be oblivious, Amara kept walking until she reached a right turn. She then waited, preparing for him to arrive.
"You following me, judge?"
"Yes, I couldn't help. I have never seen anyone as beautiful as you."
"I get that a lot," Amara smirked sexily. "Well, you followed me here. What do you want from me, Judge?"
"Well, what do you say we go somewhere more private?"
"Sure, Judge. I'd love that."
Judge Muller smiled like he won the lottery. Without uttering another word, he led Amara to his car. Amara, on the other hand, is continuously working her magic. Her beauty, the unquestionable skills for seduction, and her bed prowess, all mixed, can drive even a saint crazy about her.
They reached the Baxter Hotel after twenty minutes. It's the only hotel at the town border, and Judge Muller said he was always given a private entrance at the back of the hotel. Judge Muller's hands were all over her body even before they entered the room. He seemed too lively and excited for a sixty-five-year-old man.
----------------
The moment they entered the room, Judge Muller almost ripped her dressed off her body. Amara wanted to slash his throat already, but she stopped herself. She wanted to see the terror in his eyes when he realized that his about to die.
So she gently pushed him to the bed. Muller looked so pleased because he thought that Amara was just dominant to please him. He almost drooled literally when he saw Amara taking off her clothes slowly.
"Are you ready, Judge?" Amara asked playfully.
"Oh hell, yeah!" Judge Muller responded excitedly.
Amara seductively climbed the bed. Judge Muller waited in anticipation for her first move. He was expecting some knee-melting erotic actions from Amara. But what he didn't expect is the stinging pain he felt in his thigh.
"What the!"
"Shhhh!"
Amara stuck out her tongue slowly and hold the vile, threatening to come out of her mouth. She licked Muller's leg to make him forget about the stinging pain. Amara can hear him moan as his hips rose upwards repeatedly.
"Don't be a p*ssy, Judge."
Amara smirked and continued placing small kisses on Muller's legs, his protruding belly, and his too hairy chest. For him, Amara was working on getting him excited. But the truth is, Amara is playing him, so he wouldn't notice that his lower body is starting to feel numb.
"How do you feel, Judge?" Amara asked in a sexy manner.
"What-" Muller tried to respond, but his jaw was already locked.
His eyes widened when he realized that he's been fooled. That something is about to happen to him. The only part of his body that he can move is his eyes.
"Scary, isn't it? Not being able to move your body. You can think clearly, but you can't command even a single muscle. I'll tell it's pretty eerie for some people. It's like being locked inside your own mind. It's like being possessed by a demon, isn't it? You're
lucid, but you can't move on your own.""Do you know that it's almost the same feeling for rape victims? As the monsters harass them, as vile, evil men like you force yourselves into their bodies. That's exactly how they feel. Trapped in their minds, scared out of their wits, They wanted to shout, but they can't because they were afraid. They wanted to move their bodies and fight back, but they can't. You have been preying on the weak for far too long, Judge Rodney Muller. It's time to meet justice."
Amara started with his nipples, then his fingernails, then she moved to her teeth. They pulled them one by one. Muller may not be feeling the actual pain, but his mind is screaming at him, telling him to feel afraid.
Tears started rolling from Muller's eyes. Slowly, he realized what is really about to happen. Amara's devilish smile is giving him a clear picture of his impending fate. Even without his sense of feeling, deep inside, he felt fear crawl down his spine. With eyes wide opened, Muller watched as the grim reaper comes for his soul
Amara sat on the couch and turned on the tv. She was sure that it would be on the morning headlines. Amara leaned back on the sofa with a broad smile on her face and comfortably watched the news."Good morning, this is Sanja Rashid, reporting for News Flash Morning. It's a great shock for the whole town. Three in the morning today, Judge Rodney Muller was found dead and mutilated inside a hotel room. We decided not to take any pictures of the crime scene or his body because of the gruesome nature. According to the hotel staff that assisted him, Judge Muller arrived with a sexy and beautiful woman around forty years younger than him."Amara smiled with content, just as she expected. She set up everything, for that female reported to be the first on the scene. Because she knew Sanja would not hold back any information she has. Just like him."Great work, lady. Great work." Amara said while smiling in front of the television.Because of the excellent news, A
Bartholomew Carter became a superstar overnight because of the murder of Salazar Simmons. Whoever sent her those files gave him the best scoop of his life. Every time he walks the street, people would cheer for his name. He's like a modern-day superhero. Inspiring youths, exposing the evil, and giving women the strength to stand up for themselves. Now, more and more women are speaking up. Female motivational speakers. Rape victims who are finally coming out of the dark."You're doing great, Barth. Keep up the good work." The senior editor of their network praised him. That made Carter scoffed."You're the one who didn't me reporting the Simmon's case on my program, right? Now that it's making a noise, I'm doing great? Unbelievable."Bartholomew could no longer stand the presence of his senior. In the industry that he belongs to, leeches are everywhere. People who are always ready to swat you out if you prove useless and they will be so quick to worship yo
Harverville is in chaos because of the murder of two famous residences. Many believed that the videos about them were authentic, but their families are working tirelessly to maintain their good image. Especially the family of Judge Rodney Muller. His daughters are willing to pay anyone just to keep Muller's honorable persona intact. They've been paying social media influencers to create documentaries about the so-called proof of their greatness. But the people who believe in the victims are relentless in defending them."Good afternoon, Harverville. We are here to witness a public debate. The topic? Are Salazar Simmons and Judge Rodney Muller evils? Did they really commit those crimes being connected to their names? Let's hear the opinions of ten of our respected citizens."People gathered at the city hall for the first-ever public debate. A non-government organization decided that it's high time that people listen to each other's opinions. They set up chairs fo
Monday morning. Every week, Amara would visit the Mother of Mercy Psychiatric Ward. She's been doing it for sixteen long years. Yet, she never missed even one Monday. It became a routine in her life that she can never break. One of the orderlies brought her to the garden. There she saw an old woman, rocking back and forth. Her blank stare never faltered, and she quietly murmurs. Amara smiled. Her mother has been in that kind of state for sixteen years. She never recovered.-Flashback-The six-year-old Amara woke up with the sound of breaking glasses and her mother's cries. In her young and innocent mind, her mother deserved to be punished. That's what she always says, if you do something terrible, you will be punished. It's almost sunrise, and her mother was supposed to go to the wet market. They own a small meat stall where they get their everyday expenses. Her mother would spend most of the day there and comes home at night.Sometimes, she would
Amara is standing on the balcony of her room, watching the birds, the clouds, and the trees as they dance with the wind. So far, Dylan is contented with the times she's giving him. Those quick pecks on the cheeks, holding hands, and storytelling. Dylan was trying so hard to be a gentleman. But she can see right through him.A knock on the door interrupted Amara's thought. It's Dylan. She's sure of it. It's eight in the morning, so for sure, Dylan already cooked breakfast. Amara continued on acting dumb to make Dylan believe that he got her wrapped in his fingers."Good morning, Amara." Dylan greeted her after she opened the door."Good morning, Dylan." Amara greeted back with the sweetest smile she can muster."Breakfast is ready, my princess.""You're so sweet."Dylan and Amara descended to the dining hall. Amara secretly scoffed when she saw all the food on the table. There's fruits, ham, bacon, fried rice, vegetable salad. He really is pu
Marvin Sullivan stands in front of a newly placed gravestone. His eyes are swollen and blood-red. It's been four days, and he still can't put himself back together.A father is the provider of a family. He is the protector of the family. Being a law enforcer gives more emphasis on being a father more than anything else. A father protects, teaches, and nurtures his children. He teaches them to be strong, responsible, and decent. And he keeps his children away from any harm.Marvin feels like there's a butcher knife stuck in his heart. Since that day, he hasn't stopped crying. His left hand is swollen, and he has broken knucklebones after punching a wall numerous times."Marvin, come on. You've been here since last. Your family needs you, man.""How can I even my family? My wife couldn't even look at me. And she has all the right to be angry. It's my fault that my daughter is dead. If I just listened to my wife and found another job, my daughter would still
The dead body of Dylan Waltz was found inside his room by the house cleaning crew. There was no sign of foul play, no forced entry, and no witness. The estimated time of death was around the early morning of that same day. The cause of death was ruled as a heart attack.Amara was questioned about her time with Dylan. But because she arrived home three days before Dylan died, she was easily crossed out on the list of suspects. Besides, Amara was a known escort girl even by the law enforcers. They know her style and know that she doesn't stay with a customer for more than three days. The police also interviewed Dylan's doctor and found out that Dylan does have a heart condition. Of course, Amara knew this. That is the reason why it was easy for her to find the perfect poison. She returned to the resthouse a few times to ensure that he would not starve or be dehydrated. Amara ensured that police won't find any signs of foul play. The whole city of Haverville is in
Det. Marvin Sullivan went home when the sun goes up. He just meant to change clothes, but his wife was already awake when he arrived. Since Sheila died, they never had the chance to talk. Or maybe it's right to say that she's avoiding him. She couldn't even look at him."Hey, I just went home to take a bath and change clothes. Captain wants progress on the Simmons and Muller's death.""Okay."Marvin bowed his head when his wife didn't even turn around when she answered him. She was cooking their daughter's breakfast when he arrived. Sullivan's heart is breaking into pieces every time he's with his family."Why won't you even look at me?""Nothing. Go ahead and take a bath." His wife said before walking away from him."I didn't want any of this to happen. I love her so much. You don't have any idea how losing her breaks my heart.""You love her? I asked you, no, I begged you to resign. To find a new job. But you took her away from me!
Arman and Kyle went to the park to play. It's Sunday, and they both agreed to spend every weekends outdoors. This is Arman's way of helping his best friend to forget all the bad things that happened to him. He wants Kyle to be happy, so he will choose to stay with them.It is a sunny day–perfect to outdoors, but because Arman is too matured to play kid's game, he would just sit on the grass and watch Kyle. Sometimes, he would ask himself why he chose to be friends with a childish kid like him. But, every time he looks at Kyle, he would just smile and realize that there's no one he would rather be friends with."Kyle..." Arman's watching his best friend play at the monkey bar when they heard a familiar voice."What are you doing here?" The young boy couldn't help himself from feeling angry towards the man standing near the monkey bar."I just–I just want to talk to my son." Mr. Monroe said in a sad tone. There are dark circles around his eyes, and he alrea
A few days after Darson left, his family is still uncomfortable with the knowledge that his obsession with Amara Keener hasn't stop. Yes, they adore the fact that she saved a little boy from being abused by his stepmother, but it won't change the fact that she's an escort girl. They see her as the kind of woman who will kiss any man's feet in exchange for money. Something that they despised so much. But just like before, they can't do anything about it because Darson always had his own mind. None of them can convince him, especially when it comes to Amara. They also can't change the fact he already love Amara's adopted child like his own."I don't know how long I could let this go on. Our son is a single, responsible man who can make any woman fall for him. Why is he wasting his time with Amara Keener." Mr. Humphrey said."You know your son. He will never change his mind. Even though his family is obviously not happy about it, they agreed not to say anything. Darson knows that it will not be easy for his family to accept Amara again, but he knows that in time they will see how great of a person she is."You take care of yourself, son. Alright?" His father remained him."We will miss you." Said his mother."Be good, okay?" His sisters added."Thank you, guys. I'll see you soon." Darson said to his family. "Hey, kids. Be good to Amara, alright?""We will miss you." Arman and Kyle replied."Just come back safe, okay?" Amara said with a smile."Of course. I made a promise, remember? Take car
"Kyle! Wake up! Come on, it's breakfast time!""Go away! I'm still sleepy!""Get out of bed or I will drag your ass down the stairs?""Fine! I'll just brush my teeth. You can get out now.""Not happening. Go to your bathroom and brush your teeth, I'll wait for you here."I smiled as I listened to those two boys. They really are like brothers, and my heart breaks for Kyle. He's a nice kid, and he doesn't deserve to be mistreated. Now that his dad and stepmother are both facing possible jail time, he's got nowhere to go. Both his parents are only child, and his grandparents are all dead. We are the only ones who can take care of him.I woke up early to prepare our breakfast, and as expected, Darson arrived a few minutes after I'm done. He brought fruits, a gallon of ice cream, and new toys for Kyle. He even brought a new computer for him. I can already see that he will be a great father when the time comes. It's just sad to think that I might
The very next day, Amara called Kyle's father to let him know that his son ran away and called them for help. He demanded for Amara to bring his son back immediately, and even threatened to sue her for kidnapping. But, Amara, being the brave woman she is who never blinks in the face of threats, refused. She told Mr. Monroe to come to their town, and meet her at the sheriff's station. She already called the child protection office, and their representative is already on his way. When Mr. Monroe sensed that Amara will not budge, he agreed to travel back to town. She also demanded for him to bring his new wife."What's your plan?" Darson asked her. They are already at the sheriff's station with Kyle, and one of the female officers is already getting his statement."I'll make sure that Kyle's b*tch stepmother will rot n jail for what she did to him." She responded. Amara can feel her body trembling in so much anger."I can't imagine how a woman would do somet
Earlier this morning, the news said 'Matriarch Of A Crime Family Died Of Heart Failure'. Amara woke up to that news, and the first thing that came to her mind was that she escaped justice. She wanted Mrs. Higgins to suffer in jail. That's what she deserves after everything she done, just like the rest of her family. The only comfort that she has is the knowledge that the rest of her family is rotting in prison. Now that the issue with the Higgins has finally reached its conclusion, Amara can focus of what lies ahead. More specifically about what she has to do with Henry Cambert."Amara, that reporter is outside." Arman announced. She's at her room planning on what to wear for tonight.Henry Cambert invited her on a date tonight, and she's planning on making everything work on her favor. Bartholomew Carter is becoming of a nuisance than help. He's chasing the fame that came with the intense reports he did because of her. Now that she's no longer giving him any in
