Author's POV….

"We are here," Maverick announced and Cynthia took a deep breath. She kind of felt nervous that she would be having dinner with Maverick's parents.

This isn't the first time she is seeing though but she hasn't really had a long conversation with any of them.

This time, she really has to dress simple and decent so she can be addressed as a good and responsible wife for Maverick.

She prays things go well and she also hopes she would be able to get along with them pretty well most especially with Maverick's mother.

If she is able to get Maverick's mother into liking her, she would ask her some questions about Oliver.
