Ava's POV

It had been two days since we had dinner with Stephen and his father. I really liked Uncle Harper. He was a kind and gentle man. In particular, he was kind and considerate toward my mother. It was the first time that I witnessed my mother appearing to be content with another person. I was very glad for her.

I got up a little bit later than usual today. Last night, my mother went shopping with Luna Carolina. So when she got back to her house, she showed me all of the dresses, including the one she said she would wear to her wedding. After that, we engaged in a conversation for a span of time. I failed to keep track of time and ended up sleeping in the morning.

It was my mother's suggestion that I should remain at home today if I was feeling sleepy. I refused and decided to go to my university.

When it came to my studies, I could not make any concessions. Perhaps that was the reason why people perceived me as a nerd.
