SALVATORE'S POV

“She's pretty,” Antonio said. I took over from Sofia. She was asking the wrong questions, and she was too slow with it.

“Oh,” my breath came out in a hurry after hearing the boy's words,

“Can you explain more about this person to me?” I asked him and the boy grinned happily.

After hearing the boy mention that a lady picked my little boy, a faint suspicion grew and began to gnaw me deep.

I have a feeling that the kidnap is related to her, but I don't want to jump to a conclusion, so I will rather let the evidence point her out as the person behind it

The boy suddenly pouted when I expected him to continue,

“But that beautiful lady told me not to say anything. She says it's our secrets.” He muttered with teary eyes.

Upon hearing that, a furious feeling took over me. I had to control myself to stop myself from strangling the woman already.

I gritted my teeth and patted the kid's shoulder, trying to act friendly even though I knew my face was likely to be twisted.
