Evidence

I raised my gaze to who it was that spoke, and the figure was that of Eduardo.

He took the opposite seat.

"What? You know the culprit?" I asked and he gave a nod.

"So why didn't you tell me that day when we were in the hospital?" I asked.

"That was because he was right there with us don." Eduardo leaked out as I stared at him in confusion and suspicions.

"What do you mean by he was there with us? Are you trying to say that he was the one?" I asked and he gave a nod.

"Exactly don, he is the one, and there's no one other than that bastard, he is the spy, and that is why he was spared." Eduardo said.

"If you take notice, Maurice had no single injury on him, and everyone else had serious injuries, I know most of my comrades that died after suffering severe injuries, even i was at the point of death till you came to my aid don." Eduardo explained, and to be sincere, his words were making definite sense to me.

Now I saw reasons why I should believe him, and suspect Maurice.
