Second wedding

I stared at my reflection for the fifth time with a smile on my face. My hair lay on my neck, and it was decorated with white pearls. How the hair stylist ad gotten them there was still a mystery to me.

I was wearing a lace white wedding dress that had a column design and a slit that reached all the way to my mid-thigh. I had on silver stilettoes to match my dress. The dress showed off my cleavage and had long sleeves.

The dress was backless and it had a ribbon at the waistline. I had fallen in love with it the moment I saw it.

The eyeshadow on my eyes was silver and a few crystals had been put on the edge of my eyes. I also had on white eyeliner and nude lipstick. The more I stared at myself the more I was proud of the woman I saw in the mirror.

I had a good marriage, better than my mother ever had, and a husband who loved me. This was everything I had dreamed of in my life. I had become stronger and soared through battles together with my man.
