Chapter 5: Wet and hot search

Lucas wanted to accompany Bianca. 

Only in front of Bianca could he relax and be himself, and only then could he justify not keeping Betty company. 

But Bianca pushed Lucas out of the room and locked the door. Lucas always had complex feelings for Bianca, a mix of gratitude and admiration.

After he became popular, his company tried to set him up with a female celebrity he had cooperated with to create a CP (couple pairing) for publicity. 

But at that time, he was still a new face in the industry, and the company was afraid that he wouldn't be able to handle the female celebrity, and vice versa.

Jenn knew about Bianca and tried to use her to promote a celebrity and an ordinary person, but Lucas strongly resisted. 

Bianca wasn't a tool; she was his only friend. Using Bianca would mean putting an end to their friendship.

 Because of this, Lucas and Jenn had a very unpleasant quarrel. Jenn threatened to freeze him out, but Lucas wouldn't back down.

Jenn had to compromise, but she also learned about Lucas's weakness: Bianca. Seeing Lucas being pushed out of the room by Bianca, Jenn, who had been hiding behind the opposite door, peered through the peephole, breathed a sigh of relief, and then a cold smile crept onto her face. 

She muttered to herself, "He's not asleep, great! Lucas, this time you have no say!"

Early the next morning, Bianca was awakened by the sunshine. 

She washed off the ointment the doctor had applied to her face the night before and saw that her face had indeed returned to its previous fair and delicate state.

She was overjoyed that today's shooting wouldn't be delayed, and she could still make money!

Bianca immediately sent a selfie and an explanation to the director's assistant, then hurried to freshen up. 

However, as soon as she finished styling her hair, the director's assistant sent her a WeChat message informing her that there would be no shoot today and to rest well.

Rest well? Bianca had no idea how to rest well. For years, she had wished for 48-hour days. Private coaching sessions, group classes, training sessions, recording videos, and taking photos - she never stopped for a moment. 

The more money she earned, the faster, the better!

Bianca was contemplating how to make money during her day off when the doorbell rang, and Lucas personally pushed a food cart over.

Learning that Bianca wasn't shooting, Lucas jokingly pleaded with her, "I know you're tired, but you have to help me today! It's urgent and only you can do it!"

It turns out that Lucas was here because he was shooting another ad for the Aurora group. 

Frost was in charge of shooting the group's corporate video, and Betty, Frost's aunt, was in charge of shooting the "maternal and child hospital" ad for the group, with Lucas as the spokesperson.

The model in Lucas's ad was an international supermodel. Upon hearing that Bianca had had an accident the day before, she suddenly demanded more money. 

Betty refused, and the model quit.

Betty quickly brought in a group of models from a local advertising agency. 

Lucas always attached great importance to the quality of his work and wanted to personally select the models. Bianca was a yoga instructor, specializing in physical evaluation and shaping.

She also knew her preferences, so Lucas asked Bianca to help him choose the models. "There's compensation! 3000 dollars for three hours."

Lucas knew that Bianca loved money. Jenn wouldn't pay, so Lucas naturally wouldn't tell Bianca that he was paying out of his pocket. Bianca readily agreed to help Lucas; getting paid to do something, why not?

Bianca and Lucas arrived at the beach for the shoot and unexpectedly saw a familiar figure - yesterday's iceberg, Frost. Frost saw them and walked away as if he had seen strangers. 

Bianca was puzzled, and Lucas, who followed, was instantly enraged and stopped Frost. "Hey! Although you saved Bianca's life yesterday, she fell into the water because you didn't grab her. You guys are even now. At least say thank you, right?"

"Everything's a misunderstanding! Let me introduce you: Frost, this is Lucas, the current traffic person. Lucas, this is my beloved nephew, Frost, the chairman of the Aurora group!"

The speaker was Betty, Frost's aunt. Bianca couldn't help but chuckle. His last name is Cold! This big ice cube matches his surname quite well.

Betty held out a tablet and handed it to Frost. There were several news releases on it: "A major accident occurred during the Aurora ad shoot, Chairman Frost displayed superb medical skills on the scene, heroically saved the beauty." 

The accompanying photo was the one of Frost giving Bianca CPR yesterday. In the photo, Bianca looked like a water fairy, soaked through, while Frost knelt beside her, giving her CPR. After Frost finished reading, he handed it to Bianca, and she blushed.

Lucas also came over to see and was very unhappy. He didn't like seeing Bianca so intimate with other men, and the news of "Lucas heroically saving the beauty" would overshadow his hot search.

Jenn nudged Lucas, so he put his hand on Betty's back and said, "Jenn, is this appropriate?"

Betty stood tall and dismissive, not deigning to look directly at Bianca, and said, "Very appropriate! Frost, do you see any problems with these hot search releases? 

You brought a wave of traffic to our group for free, just small trouble for this young lady, but you might have become famous overnight as well!"

Frost knew that his aunt was trying to create publicity and he was very repulsed, but he didn't say anything. Instead, he stared at Bianca. 

If Bianca was trying to climb onto him, now was her chance to gain exposure. She must be eager to get this news out.

Indeed, Bianca's face grew redder and more excited.

Although Frost had predicted this, he was still very disappointed. Just as he was about to speak up and ask his aunt to halt the matter, Bianca suddenly said, "If you must release this news, please do not disclose my personal information and make sure to mosaic my face and body entirely!"

After speaking, Bianca urged Lucas to choose the models. 

She didn't want to get caught up in this matter with Frost and didn't want to become famous in this manner. She just wanted to earn honest money.

Why wasn't she seizing the opportunity to become famous? Fame meant money, and she loved making money so much. What exactly was she planning now?

Watching Bianca and Lucas's backs, Frost's doubts about Bianca grew stronger. 

However, Jenn was very happy. She didn't want this set of tantalizing photos to overshadow the hot search Lucas was about to make. Now, with Bianca asking for a mosaic, this photo wouldn't hold much significance with just Frost alone. 

On the beach, a row of male models were already in position, and each one was eagerly hoping to be chosen. This was an Aurora ad after all!

Bianca sat next to Lucas, flipping through the models' information and recalling Lucas's lengthy instructions earlier. 

She quickly sorted out the key points for choosing models: their muscles shouldn't be too big, they shouldn't be taller than Lucas, and they shouldn't be more good-looking than Lucas...

The first group of five models stepped forward, lined up next to each other, shirtless and wearing only tight briefs. Each of them was a youthful, well-proportioned hunk, smiling eagerly to showcase their physique and appearance.

Although Bianca was used to seeing athletic body types in yoga instruction, she was a bit flustered by the display today.

Bianca collected herself and began to carefully scrutinize each model from head to toe, leaving no part of their bodies unchecked.

Jenn, being straightforward, was excited at seeing so many handsome men and couldn't contain herself. She grabbed Bianca and shouted, "Number 4, Number 4 has a big chest!"
