He pointed at Akiko, and Ryu triumphed. Kenji didn't protest further. The blanket was indeed for Akiko, who had once again fallen asleep near Kenji's hand.
After their upsetting conversation, Kenji fell asleep due to the medication and discovered that Akiko had also fallen back unconscious.
In addition to Akiko, Inoue and Ryu were waiting in the room. They arrived shortly after Ryu received the doctor's report.
