I picked up her call and listened to her voice, but all I could hear was sobbing. It wasn’t a new experience for me, as she often did this when she was upset about something. I let out a sigh, knowing that she needed help. I had suggested therapy and a check-up for her, but she always insisted that she was fine and that I didn’t need to worry about her.
