SCENE 3

Charlotte cried and rushed upstairs to find out where Teddy was taking Anne too.

"Teddy, you cannot do this to me. I'm your wife and Luna—you cannot bring Anne into our home. Teddy! Open this door!"

Charlotte cried as she stood in front of the door to the master's bedroom.

Since Charlotte had moved into this house and had been living with Teddy Hudson for four years, Teddy had not entered this room to make love to her.

But that night, he had brought his assistant home; not only had he told Charlotte that Anne was his true mate and Luna, but he had also taken Anne to the bedroom that was rightfully Charlotte's.

"Teddy!! Teddy!!" Charlotte cried outside the room door as she could hear Teddy and Anne smooching inside.

"Yeah, Teddy, give it to me! Harder! Yeah! Ha! Mm," Anne moaned.

"Teddy!!" Charlotte shouted again. Just then, she heard a deep voice from downstairs calling, "Is anyone at home??"

Charlotte froze. *Who was that?* The voice sounded so powerful and commanding that Charlotte quickly wiped her tears away.

*Had a rogue entered their house?* Charlotte wondered as she quickly searched the corridor where she was standing for any instruments she could use to protect herself.

Charlotte picked up a mop stick that she saw nearby. She knew she was weak and could not fight, so she had to protect herself, as she was not expecting any visitors—nor was Teddy.

"Is anyone at home?" Charlotte heard the deep voice striding upstairs, and quickly she controlled the switch, as the mansion was hers.

"Lights off!" Charlotte commanded, and she could feel her heart beating loudly in her chest, as the corridor lights turned off.

Just then, she inhaled the most intoxicating masculine scent ever, which wafted through the air and into her nostrils.

The masculine scent was smoky and aromatic, and Charlotte was beginning to lose her grip on the mop stick she was holding.

She stood in a dark corner to protect herself and strike the head of the intruder, who had dared to enter Alpha Teddy's mansion without any of the guards catching or stopping him.

"Anyone here?" As the voice drew nearer, he stopped, as he could hear the sound of her rapid heartbeat.

Not only that, he perceived a sweet lemonade scent that drew him in—he wanted to hold her, to claim her—and his wolf surged within him.

Charlotte, with speed, immediately moved away from the dark corner where she was hiding to strike the intruder's head with the mop stick, but he caught her arm just as it reached toward him.

Charlotte came face to face with the tall, handsome, formidable figure standing in her presence.

His strong masculine personality commanded submission, and Charlotte's wolf began to giggle in excitement for the very first time in her life.

Her wolf danced happily inside her body as her blue eyes met his glowing green eyes. And the man muttered, "Mate."

In the dark corridor, he inhaled her lemonade scent. Not only that, he dipped his head to the side of her neck, and she shivered in his hold as he sniffed her in the darkness.

Inhaling her scent seemed to draw him in, and the next moment—what Charlotte had not anticipated—the stranger who was making her lose hold of her sanity kissed her neck and nibbled on her sensitive spot.

"Mmm," Charlotte moaned. She was committing adultery as a married woman; she was supposed to push this masculine figure away, to protect her dignity and remind him that she was married.

But she succumbed, running her hands through his long dark hair. She hugged him closely while he held her firmly to himself and continued kissing her—from the nape of her neck, he trailed kisses and licks across her body to her earlobes and then to her face.

"Who are you? I have been searching for my mate for a long time, not knowing my mate was at home," the man said, as his lips tickled Charlotte's right ear and he gently bit her earlobe.

He kissed her cheeks and reached for her face to look at him. He met her teary blue eyes, which glimmered with hope and love, and he still did not know who she was.

He kissed her tears away and told her, "I'm here now, and no one will hurt you again." With that comment, he kissed her on the lips.

Just then, the corridor lights turned on. Standing there and looking at the two people kissing each other—with eyes full of rage—was Teddy Hudson.

"What the fụck is going on here??" Teddy demanded as the light came on, and he caught his wife, Charlotte, and his elder brother, Jack Hudson, kissing each other passionately and beginning to strip themselves bare in the corridor.

Teddy had first noticed Charlotte's increased heartbeat as he was thrusting into Anne's warmth.

Not only had Teddy heard Charlotte's heart beating loudly, but he had mind-linked with her as he sensed she was in danger, which made him withdraw from Anne just before he could reach his climax.

Teddy had heard Charlotte's thoughts: "Is there a rogue in here? Which rogue would dare to enter Alpha Teddy's mansion?"

Teddy had quickly dressed and rushed out to protect Charlotte from the rogue, as he knew she was a weak she-wolf. But what he had not expected was to pull the door open and meet darkness in the previously bright corridor.

Not only that, he sensed a familiar, challenging presence that was not a rogue, and he quickly switched on the light to see what was happening.

Teddy saw his elder brother, Jack Hudson, and Charlotte kissing each other sweetly and with a passion that burned with lust.

"What the fụck is going on here? Charlotte! You bìtch! Is that how horny you are that you would dare to kiss my brother in my own house?" Teddy charged toward Charlotte with anger, as he had completely forgotten that Jack was arriving that day.

Earlier, Alpha Lucas had called Teddy, when he was at the neighboring pack, to say that Jack Hudson had contacted him and told him he was coming home.

It had slipped Teddy's mind to inform Charlotte, as he was angry upon hearing that his elder brother would be returning.

Teddy knew their father loved Jack very much. Although they both looked alike, Jack was their father's favorite and excelled at everything—until Jack had told their parents ten years ago that he wanted to travel abroad to further his studies in human lands.

Teddy had been happy then, as it was an opportunity for him to get rid of Jack. Instead of contemplating killing his elder brother to take over the pack, Teddy was glad that Jack had chosen to leave on his own, even though their father had disagreed and reminded Jack that he had to rule the pack and fight in the ongoing rogue attacks to protect their people.

Jack had still insisted on traveling abroad to further his studies in business management. Now, he was back in the pack that Teddy had built.
