Chapter 85 Now, I Didn't Regret Running Away

Serena's POV

“No,” Chris Walter shook his head. “No! No, it’s too dangerous.”

“We don't have a choice!”

Chris groaned, “Serena, they want Catherine to bring the heirloom. If they find out we tricked them, Andy will be put in danger.”

“I’ll do it!” Catherine pulled herself up and wiped her tears. “I’ll go to get my son back.”

“No,” I said coldly. I will go. The heirloom belongs to my father and I will save Andy, I’m sure.

She looked at me with hatred, “I’ll go, Serena! It’s my son!”

“You're too emotional to go, Catherine.” I said angrily.

She let out a sarcastic laugh, “Don't tell me what to do, Serena! I’ll go to save my son and you can't do anything about it! Don't act like you're the only hope we have—argh!”

I watched her as she lost her balance, caressing her stomach. The maid immediately helped her to sit back on the couch and I swallowed hard, watching the pain on her face.

What’s wrong with her stomach?

“I won't allow you to go,” Chris shook his head again.
