Serena's POV
Tyler was in the bar drinking alone when I arrived. I stopped a few meters away from him and watched him drinking. He looked so problematic. The expression on his face is hurting me so much that I feel like I couldn't look him in the eyes tonight.
I took a deep sigh. Seeing him drinking like this reminded me of the time he was drowning in pain and he couldn't do anything but accept the situation.
He’s alone on the couch and his eyes are glued to the liquor he's drinking.
He’s having a hard time and I can clearly see how the situation affected him to the point that he looked really stressed out knowing he was close to his late uncle.
I was about to walk towards him when my phone beeped. I received a message from Damon. I squeezed my eyes closed after I read his message.
Tyler wanted to take the fall so his children won't suffer.
