XANDER’S HOME, NEW YORK.

“That food was so good.” Nina complimented as she rested her head on Xander’s chest.

He hummed in response, enjoying the ambiance of the evening. The beauty his house garden provides makes it pleasant to relax at any time of the day. “I knew you would like it. I had to call the chef in special. How are you feeling?”

“Relaxed and happy. I can’t remember the last time I felt this way. And I have to admit, do not crucify me, though. It feels good not to be pregnant.”

Xander let out a light laugh at her admittance. “It's alright. I hear it can be burdening.”

“It was. At the same time, I am so glad it was all worth it. I have the most beautiful baby I will love until my last breath. And I have you to thank for that, Xander.” She said, looking up at him. “You planted the desire to love her even before her arrival. My heart has found many reasons to love again despite my woes.”

He placed a kiss on her forehead. “I am glad to know you are
