Plot Twist

Facing a barrage of questions from reporters, Steele calmly replied, "We finished revising the script on the 6th and sent it to Eulalia's agent right after."

"Do you have a record of that?"

"Of course." Steele pulled out his phone, scrolled for a bit, then held it up to one of the cameras. "Here it is."

It showed an email sent on the 6th. Not just that - Steele had sent it three times, including once on the 7th.

Steele explained, "I was worried she might not receive the script, so I sent it again on the 7th. Her agent even confirmed receiving the file. I don't think an agent would screw over their own client, right?"

"Why didn't you send it directly to Eulalia instead of going through her agent?"

Barry, looking pale beside Steele, wiped her eyes and leaned on his shoulder. "You guys know what's up between us, right? Eulalia snatched the role from the production team using shady methods, and I don’t have her number."

Barry was known for being blunt - she said whatever was on her mind.
