71. Night Party

By nightfall, Kai returned to the villa in an uncertain mood. His mind was raging with many things while at the same time cursing himself for not being able to hold back his feelings for Hyomi.

Kai didn't need to do that either. He should have buried those feelings. After all, Kai knew that Hyomi loved Jun. But what was in his mind was that people could change at any time. That's what made him not want to give up.

His steps stopped in the front yard of the villa when he saw Jun. The two men stared at each other in the cool afternoon air with their respective interpretations.

Kai was being choked by awkwardness when dealing with his partner.

"You're from the hospital? Meeting Hyomi?" asked Jun casually to make sure as if not to suspect anything. Jun was not as anxious as he had been with Kai earlier.

So, why was he so casual when Kai came to see Hyomi?

"Hm. I met Hyomi. I'm just worried when I can't do anything here," Kai explained, hiding the awkward blush on his face.
